It's weird, on most boards the moderators are the posting police, but on the Saints board one of the moderators is the main troll

That's definitely weird if you couldn't comprehend a bit of sarcasm, but what's even stranger is that on the Saints board one of the users thinks that a right of reply isn't granted to someone they've just abused. I get a good laugh out of you identifying as the posting police now though, I don't even have to tag you anymore, just yell for the posting police and like Batman you arrive.

I'm not a big fight fan but to me he's trashing the brand as much as promoting it. It's turning it into wrestling.

Lol fighters are getting paid more on his card than anywhere else. It's entertainment as well as sport, if fighters can't promote themselves well enough they really have no right to whinge that a kid like Jake is doing what he's doing.

For a kid in his 5th professional fight and 2 years into the sport to beat a former UFC champion (who can strike) is really impressive.

And I don't particularly like him either, think he's a bit of a clown and would hope he goes the true professional route but nobody in their 4th or 5th fight is beating guys at the level of Tyron Woodley even at his current age/point of his career. And who is fighting ranked boxers 5 fights/2 years into their career? He's not Lomachenko or something lol. It's laughable to expect that of him.

There's dozens of pro boxers that are 4-0, 5-0, 3-0 that he would beat. Not all 4-0 fighters are good given they fight other bums as that is the norm for starting out a pro career lol. Woodley is better quality than a lot of pro boxers at that record so I think it's stupid to say he should fight a pro boxer...because he'd beat pro boxers. Ranked pros is another story entirely.

They don't read particularly offensive to me. "The Three Stooges" are a comedy trio, aren't they? A bit before my time tbh.

And the second one doesn't call you a dick. It says that because you're a moderator, you can be a dick without anyone pulling you up, if you choose to do so.

I guess I should have gone on to make the point that as a moderator you're held to a higher standard, because people see a moderator doing something on the forum - trolling, abusing people under the cover of humour, etc - and think that's what the forum is like. Personally I think your posting style is pretty unedifying and detracts from the tone, especially for new people. I like spending time here with fellow Saints supporters generally, so I'll keep pulling you up when I see you do something that I think isn't helpful. If that leads to me being called the "posting police" then so be it, I don't want to have to do this but I also want this place to be friendly and welcoming to new people, and I'm happy to take some personal abuse if I can help move it in the right direction.

I should note that none of this is about your activities as a moderator. I'm sure you do a great job in that realm, and none of us can see it. It's purely about the way you post as an individual who happens to be a moderator.
