Subsequently murdered, which means its no worse for the guy than any other torture before death.
Do Russia really not have to answer to anyone.

They talk about the CIA waterboarding people, that was bad, but the Russians let their guys get away with anything.

You've had situations of mass murder and shallow graves, *******ing, men with children and many other things, as Russia still hasn't answered for Crimea and still recognise Ossetia for example, short of them being annexed, I doubt they'll have to actually answer for much that they do.

But if WW3 isn't a pile on to divy up Russia, I will be very disappointed.

Didn't know the guy was killed afterwards. Somehow that makes it slightly less horrid.

Hearing stories about Germany and the Soviet Union in WW2, the inhumane things they would do to each other during the war.. It sounds dumb, but the Germany vs everyone else looked like a gentlemanly war in comparison.

I guess it's easy to do such vile acts when you dehumanise your opposition.

Legend has it that there would've been no disagreements if Chad Warner had plucked a few more arse hairs?

General Patton fought the Germans. He hated the Russians.
He wanted to drive the Russians back using the German military.

They laughed at him and said the war is over.

Patton was right.

Effectively, those Russians;

"Shock and awe"; castration.
Shot him.
Dragged him around on parade in some place.

Which is part of why everyone knows who why when and how as it was not like they tried to hide anything, quite the converse to drive that narrative home when you consider your freeing people from nazisim...

Personally i'd prefer castration to death.

I guess i could follow art or something, instead of pr0n. Or i could plot revenge.

Nope, but i will make it a point to.
If you ask a historian they'd say you're an idiot for listening to Dan Carlin. I prefer to think that he's a fantastic entry to history. His series Blueprint Of The Armageddon is as good as it gets. It starts with Japan a hundred years before World War 2. It sets the story and then tells the story from start to finish. In a way that easily digestible for people like me.

Another series - Death Throes Of The Republic goes into the fall of the Roman Empire. Fascinating stuff.

That’s only because they’re rigid, stuffy, elitists like most in academia. Like you said, Dan is as good as it gets!

Great to see Geelong destroying the Dogs but I hate to think what they will do to us next week, could get real ugly.

Percentage doesn't matter for us though, we could cop a hiding next week but if we can win against Brisbane and the Swans we could make the eight.
