Not so s**t.

Its easy to be a pricetag wine snob. "Is this wine good"? , you betcha, paid $50 a bottle. But it takes real talent to decant your well researched el plonko into a carafe before the guests arrive, and to say " try the wine , i think you'll enjoy the bright berry notes and rustic feel "

El Toro Macho 2013 Tempranillo: This Spanish import was awarded Blue Gold (equivalent of a silver medal). It got a lot of the headlines and consequently has sold out. No doubt its $4.99 price tag had a part to play in that, but it gives plenty of bang for its buck. Savoury, even a little rustic, with generous fruit and bright berry notes, it’s eminently drinkable. As is often the case, however, if you trade up a little you’ll be richly rewarded.

Price snob u say

With the aggressive increases from the RBA I've had to sell my property and now I use that money to pay rent to live in the wall cavities there.
Malvern too expensive these days?🤣
It's poor man's toorak

Toorak is full of nancy boys who are forced by their wives to walk the family poodle around the park every morning and join mothers walking groups to gossip about the neighbours, gringo can tell you all about it.

The real men are from Armadale, it's our way or the highway over here. We don't answer to anyone, and we moderate football forums. Tough shit.

Toorak is for the oldies. Everyone seems to be 100 years old.

I've walked all of that area.
I've never seen more pompous twits than I have on Glenferrie Road and High Street.

As for Armidale. Manicured lawns are not tough

Life is too short/long to drink Aldi piddle you lot. C’mon now

Blind tasting prizes don't lie, unless you get blind before you taste it.

Or during.

I was taken by German work colleagues to the Winningen Wine fest. ( Nice village on the Moselle ).
There was much tasting and tipping out of wine.
Tipping out is not my way.
I may have disgraced myself.

I do remember, despite my state, that the Eiswein, was remarkable.

I'm a street from them then thankfully. Just a cool relatable moderator that gets along with everyone

I remember having to be in High Street Prahran at 8am some sunday morning an age ago. Can't remember why, but i was waiting there for someone or something.
There was a gay bar across the road and they were all leaving.
Those fat old drag queens with their mascara and lipstic all smudged and sweated off were not good to look at.

My son worked in the supermarket in Hawksburn, you'd take your life in your own hands getting through the car park, it was like running the gauntlet with oldies in their luxury cars barely able to operate them.

Yeah, that's commercial road. It's a circus when the clubs close down there.

My mother in law was receptionist for a doctor who practiced in a bad area of Morwell , Latrobe Valley.
Anyway, he was gay, and closed up shop and opened one up in that area.

I'm actually surprised by the amount to shitboxes people in the inner suburbs drive.
My 10 year old optima is better than half the shit I've seen
