You at least need discs on the front. Drums all round in the wet is rolling the dice ....... I should know. Was ice skating along Nepean Hwy once
coming towards Southland from City. Had three young kids in the car fast approaching a red light at 80 kms. Went up onto the centre median
strip and took out a couple of paper bark trees with my right front fender to slow down with my hand break on. I did tell the kids to hang on.
Worked out fine but I got rid of the car soon after even though I loved it.

I always thought Disk Fronts with Drum Rears were fine unless you were doing a lot of very heavy breaking ( overheating the drums ) and even then the front ones were normally enough in a well designed car.

Anti lock and stability control systems need the disks all round though. ( Drums were pretty much anti-lock anyway unless you pulled the handbrake on ).

There's an old guy around the corner from me with a 90's Lexus, it's actually so old it's cool now. He's kept it like new. I keep wanting to word him up about selling it. He doesn't looks like he's got many more years left driving.

My first Hiace was like that. Bought it for the business because the ute we had broke down and they couldn't get a part. I bought it for $1200 with a road worthy because it had done 600k. I had it for about 4 years and was waiting for something to * up to send it to the wrecker. It got so old I was embarrassed driving it so chucked it on eBay and some young guy bought it for more than I paid to fix it up. The one I've got now is just as good. Toyotas are a phenomenon.
Libba likes Toyotas. Giving Zaine Cordy a hand at their Mad Monday.

Any other car guys in here, or is everyone Ned Flanders??
I have my dream car, red holden, leather seats and a sunroof.

Is only a V6 not a V8 but hey still good.

Also went in my mates Tesla on saturday, It is odd being in a car with no engine sound.

Luckily the car does not get driven and sits in storage
If it ever does sees the light of day again, for me to drive it will be discs all round

I'm glad it's all over at last. I'm not a monarchist at all, but I did like the old queen personally; she seemed a nice old girl and was a constant presence. Now she is gone I would scrap the whole crazy thing, but there is no chance of that here yet. However, you guys are all grown up now and don't need to hold the royal coat-tails. Get rid of them before big ears turns up in Sydney, with his sentimental speeches about his colonial subjects.

I wasn't even slightly interested in the funeral but seeing bits of the old English ceremonial stuff I got kind of sentimental for it. The quaintness of it and the history are nice. You don't want to lose that identity either. As a country without much modern history it's kind of attractive. Perhaps you could have the monarchy as a figurehead and keep the traditions. The Danish don't seem to be held back by their monarchy.

We don't get anything out of being part of it though. We should be a republic.

2007 Kia Sorento

I bought it for $8000 about 5 years ago with less than 80,000 on the clock

4 x 4, proper low range and a ladder frame chassis - will go anywhere I'm game enough to take it.

I find that if i ignore them they don't affect me.

I find both the adoration and hatred of them to be kind of over the top.

Kind of funny, except compared to the latest bunch of USA Presidents, the Royals aren't as clownish, and there probably aren't a lot of living Irish who's grandparents were murdered by anyone condoned by the Royals. Also its a made up article, so its not really an indicator of whether irish hate them of not. ( Probably like the Scottish there is a resentment of English rule, though its pretty obvious that the Royals are not the ones doing the ruling ).

The real Irish Times still has its criticism, though its a bit more subtle.

Look what you can get for your money in the USA.

Cheaper than a 2 bedroom apartment in Dandenong.

Islands in Panama look cool too.

Wisconson is Yass with below freezing temperatures and 13 foot of snow

We get the ability to be great at the commonwealth games in most things instead of just some things like the olympics. Which is greek anyway, and why are we always tied to Europeans, better go backto Africa and just start punching on with wildlife. Also, is a case study as to why inbreeding is bad, as it leads to big ears and desiring your cousin to kill your home life.

I was also only interested in the funeral because imagine the logistics of closing off that much thoroughfare for that to take place, and then imagine how many unscrupulous people were licking lips at all the indisposed elements during that time period.

All because a lady was old and died with a crown and sceptre.

For the price difference i'd gladly build snowmen and mess around with snowmobiles.

Yass and its surrounds is like Bermuda Triangle for cars breaking down in a significant way if you are passing through.
It's well known. Yass wreckers have a great variety of spare parts for all vehicles.
