You've got to love the state of US politics. You're never sure what's parody and what's reality.

The GOP race is going to be fun to watch.
Can easily see the orange one cracking the shits and running as an independent candidate.

I think the last time Trump ran he took all the candidates by surprise. DeSantis knows exactly what this race against Trump will look like, so he has a pretty decent advantage that wasn't afforded to the likes of Cruz or Jeb (low energy). Thoughts on Trump aside, it will be a fascinating spectacle.

Just a shame the Democrats aren't going to offer a decent opposition to them. I don't know why Biden would want to run again, and Kamala is a poisoned chalice. They should be thinking very hard about some fresh faces or they'll risk losing in a big way. I can't see Biden winning against either Trump or DeSantis, unless Trump does indeed run as an independent.

My gut feel agrees but the mid term results didn’t show that, except I guess the De Santis margin but Florida isn’t the nation. Will be another interesting contested election imo.
