Wow - Twitter releases selected information to make Twitter look better when Twitter is looking s*** because mass sackings have seen a 50% increase in hate speech against women, gays, blacks, Judaism.

The whole con relies on peoples inability to concentrate for more than 20 seconds, read past the headline and what do you find?

But by the time the dust settled Saturday, even some conservatives were grumbling that it was a dud. Musk’s Twitter Files produced no smoking gun showing that the tech giant had bent to the will of Democrats."

This is totally Musk trying to create controversial content that everyone has to have a look at. When you are heading for irrelevancy, setting off a bomb is the best thing you can do.

The whole story is that media and websites manipulate stuff under the orders of politicians..... Ever since they have allowed people to vote the media has been used by both sides to manipulate. Media and politics ....and church once, were in bed since the beginning. Murdoch has had every western politician wanting power come on hands and knees. Trump used Cambridge Anylitica to manipulate social media. The deification of a guy who is more conman media personality than billionaire as a way to get the US back to what it once was is incredible to watch. It's kind of sad.

The irony is Bernie Sanders was probably their chance to try to arrest some of the social decay and grab hold of some of Social Democracy policies that would redistribute some of the wealth. They are so indoctrinated that they will vote against their best interests. Trump is a divider and finger pointer, history is littered with similar political figures and they rarely end up working out for the better.

The US has decaying infrastructure, decaying education, lack of health care, piss all workers rights and trapped with the military industrial complex.

That's simply not the case, especially if you compare it to Australia.

If you want s**t work like working in an Amazon distribution centre or Walmart you can get food stamps because they don't pay you a living wage. So yes, they haven't as much as us but they manufacture using prisoners and pay below living wages so they don't need to as much as us.

How do they quantify hate speech? I noticed in the Twitter feed that you linked people were reacting saying that it's time for bullets over ballots and wanting people jailed without charge. Hate speech might not be up but the crazy count is.

Certain words I believe. These days it’s whatever “they” don’t like, however. It’s been bastardised like most things.

That's a graph produced by Twitter pronouncing that "impressions" of hate speech are lower. Not sure of its relevance to anything.

"Impressions" on Twitter is purely a count of the amount of times a tweet is viewed, not whether a tweet contains hate speech or was moderated for containing hate speech.

I hope Twitter isn't making stuff up!!

I just don't get emotional over the kind of s**t that Twitter promotes. Both sides get spoon fed stuff that reinforces their beliefs and ridicules or demonises the other side. The left don't want to turn toddlers into transexuals and not all right leaning people are nazi sympathisers.

The high living standard that the west has enjoyed for a long time was built on the back of exploiting and screwing other countries and individuals. Governments and media have lied to everyone to keep the system going and the people don't mind them keeping it from us.

Now that the mega rich have more control over politics and a global economy has become normalised the west is going to have some of that living standard taken off them. Pretending that Trump is the messiah that will return the US to the 1950s family values and high wages era is unrealistic. New media and mainstream media distract you by telling you that gender neutral toilets are making everyone gay or that Trump is a clownish buffoon.
