Haven't seen the Ali fight haha I will have to watch it.

I was thinking that head kicks could be okay here because technically he is upright lol. Would be a nightmare to fight, basically can't do anything except go to the ground and grapple him

Yep it’s a shocker, imagine trying to punch down like that for example . Reminds me of the female marine who‘d been boasting she’ll beat any guy on the base. Some guy takes her on and beats the suitcase out of her and gets booed and she’s filthy and won’t shake hands.

This is really a situation where the opponent really is awkward so go hard and to hell with it or loose and look like a clown. Maybe they won’t thank you for a beating but it’s kind of insulting to underestimate them and take it easy, can’t please everyone.

I was filthy paddy looked like crap against a hand picked opponent and got the win, I wanted him to have a decent win to keep the hype going. I don’t rate him, he gets hit a lot and a decent opponent will clean his clock. I had him down as a special for a decent payout when he lost but I think that ship has sailed.

Can't see him being a legitimate title contender to be honest. 27 years old, most of those fighting habits will be hard to shake. Not to mention Gordon was robbed - thought he won that fight unanimously.

Till was the biggest disappointment though, guy has won something like one fight in the last six years and it was against Cerrone at middleweight. Needs to sort himself out properly and stick to a gym instead of flying all over the world hoping he falls into the right circumstances. He was mauled in there against a guy outside the top 15. He's 30 now and it looks over for him in terms of title contention.

Dana would ride that horse until it's back's broken, I don't even think Dana cares if Paddy does or doesn't get into title contention because of the attention he brings to the sport but at the moment Paddy doesn't seem like an elite level fighter. All that weight gain and loss between fights is going to come back to bite him later in his career, you can't do that to your body forever.

I liked Paddy but the week leading up to his fight he made a fool of himself and then instead of apologising he doubled down and made it worse.

Objectively he's a stubborn guy that thinks too highly of himself. Without all the fanfare I think that's what he is.

I was up in the bush yesterday and a scorpion crawled out of the leaf litter while I was kneeling down. I thought I'd discovered another new species but googled it... it wasn't. Apparently there are heaps of them in vic.
