Growing up in VIC, the regional property we moved to had a massive black berry issue.
After months/years of attempts to get rid of them, the only solution was purchasing a pet goat.
Goats (not Blake Acres - but the actual animal) are the only animal that digest the black berry plant/seed.

Good thinking, right now i have Blake Acres tied up near the blackberries, ( if i don't tie him up he'll eat 1: the contents of my refrigerator , 2: stuff growing in the garden, 3: all the grass , before he eats the blackberries.
I must remember to put a bucket of water up there for him.
