My problem with a lot of this is I see too many men telling concerned women what they should be ok with.

Not helpful when they make the article misleading though. I haven't seen any big events having trans athletes. There is a real issue with culture wars stuff where they try to divide people on these kinds of issues. It's like muslims were taking out Christmas away for ages. Most people aren't that far apart but they try to stoke the flames on both sides. The internet is a frontier where you get fed crazy shit that inflames your moral sensibilities and you can get addicted to being outraged very easily.

Anyway she’s a woman in her thirties not some teen tramp and it’s her music that makes her famous. I will finish with Id struggle to name anything she’s done but I’m an old boomer but try and get a ticket to her show it’s almost impossible.

I have a mate who is one of the most educated, accomplished, and intelligent men I know. He was an engineer until he did a law degree and he is now a successful barrister.

Just for contrast, he is also a believer that the Bible is literally true and the direct word of God. We have some great arguments about it. Lately he's been warning me that the Book of Revelation has predicted a number of events that showed the end was nigh.

The war in Gaza got him excited and concerned in equal measure, as to him it was another sign.

Anyhow, he rang me today and quite smugly told me the world would end in 2024 and asked if I'd like to bet on it. I declined as neither of us would survive the end of the world, so we wouldn't be able to settle the bet.

The reason he was so confident was that Tay-Tay had won Person OTY.

When I laughed, as I thought he was trying to be funny, he scolded me, adding that in Revelation it is clearly stated when women and children take over the world, The Riz (the risen one) will arrive and smite all non-believers. He added Greta Thunberg winning the same award a few years ago as corroboration for his belief! Look out all of you naughty people!

I see this on the main stream media as well and I’ve read some horrible verifiable things. It’s pretty simple I don’t think we as guys have a right to tell women how they feel about a trans person in there bathroom, sport, taking a woman's job and so on.

I’m down with tolerance but there are always limits, maybe I’m a campaigner but men don’t belong in women’s sport and spaces. A delusion, mental illness whatever it is imo doesn’t trump women’s rights, you can want what you want but that doesn’t put an obligation on anyone to accomodate it.
