Can see how a Ukrainian on the front lines would be angered by his comments, but that doesn't seem outrageous even if I don't agree with it.

Russia are going to push to consolidate as much territory as possible before Trump comes in and gives it to them permanently in exchange for a ceasefire.

I think it's a reasonable escalation.

My 12 year old son received an award at school last week for basically being a really decent human being. He went to Parliament House yesterday to meet the premier and watch question time. I sat in the south library and watched question time on a tv screen while I waited for him. Then afternoon tea was served with the premier, local member etc. I asked my son what he thought of question time. He said it was a bunch of adults acting like children. He was just dumbfounded that these people run the state. He also said he felt like he was the most mature person in the room when it was happening.
We talked about how nobody actually directly answered anyone's questions.

What an absolute shit show it was.

Pirating and then streaming changed the game. Movies have gotten more and more expensive and studios aren't willing to take the risks on new IPs. Everything has to be an adaptation, remake, reboot or sequel.

Miramax used to make the best movies that were never targeted to huge audiences, those sort of films don't exist anymore.

Instead of movies being made that 20% of the public will love, they make movies that 50$ of the public will tolerate.

I really don't watch many movies at all anymore.

Streaming is the big one.

They never did. Weirdest war. Neither attack power infrastructure, Ukraine is exporting more grain than ever, and Russia is a paper Tiger, chucked by Ukraine in Krusk Oblast.
Ukraine will have to do what Finland did to the USSR in 1938. Fight them to a standstill and cede 10% of their land. It will be something like keep the land already taken and Ukraine joins NATO.

I have no idea what argument you're trying to make here.

It's pretty simple to me:

No War - You have an imperialist dictator on a territorial war path who won't stop

Direct intervention by Western forces - an escalation not seen since world war 2

Proxy war approach - you protect western lives. You give away your surplus equipment and bankrupt an enemy in the process.

I don't accept that the people who are arguing for appeasement to save lives are arguing in good faith. Especially because they're the sort who will claim they'd be first ones on the front line if it was their homeland being invaded.
