My mate manages a business in Isa and his boss owns the building. Well the local radio station 4lm use to broadcast from upstairs. Apparently they’ve relocated to Townsville and left the console and all their gear there like they just walked out. He reckons there are hundreds and hundreds of old vinyls just left there. Was thinking of going through them but I really couldn’t be ****ed, they’d just go to waste anyway.

So my mucus thing means small potential to choke on own saliva (as not really saliva and more mucus+blood), overheat and pass out, fun times when you see blacks, purples and things start spinning as your eyes do freaky things. Anyway...
Since I previously made the stupid decision to lend my mower to a neighbour who promptly went and probably sold it for "medications" I've decided to skimp it and start tearing out the wisteria that took over my garden space, by garden space I mean;
It's on the front fence line & garden, spilling over.
It's on the fence dividing front and garden at the back.
It's on the back fence line to the driveway.
It's trying to go up to the spouting.
It's partially taken over the outside patio entirely, including the shed there.
There's probably 3-4 bee hives in there. There's definitely an old trampoline on top of that shed that has been consumed by it.
Anyway...
My decision was I was going to tear it TF out bit by bit, as 3 months inattention into that theft and into me skimping amongst other things means I need to friggen vent on something.
So my cry is I literally had to lay on my bathroom tile just before as I was doing just that, it's what 18C, cool wind, and I had to do that cause I was fine following vines, giving them a tug yeeting them into a green bin and then I wasn't.
There's the vision going, I focus on breathing and I'm just trembling, so off comes things as the urge to straight vomit arrives, splash my face, cold compress on neck, onto floor I go.
And people locally ask why I can't control that garden in its current space, frankly, because it'd be a crime for me to grab a blow torch, giggle and pull the trigger at the friggen thing to solve that monstrosity.
I've now cleared maybe 5m squared and several plants and found one of the cores that have so big a root system to dig out later so I can whiplash that bastard...
I then went out, saw my maybe kumquat tree (similar leaves, tall AF, not as many fruit though, was there prior to me existing as a human, birds love that shit I just see them when grounded and half eaten) that has a random metal handle around a trunk offshoot all "how TF am I going to get you off?"

Need new blade that has BDE...
And I need a new ladder so I can yeet that broken panel off the pergola roof as that banging in wind is annoying AF.
And I need to sand the window ledge outside as starting to creak and peel. Need more aggressive paper...

This has been my ted talk whinge, stay hydrated people and FML, I'll drag this bitch kicking and screaming all the friggen way.

I recently got myself one of these mofos for work.
Bloody addictive this scorched earth business! First time I used it, I accidentally set one of the flax bushes on fire. They burn nicely BTW.
I have to say there is something primal and deeply satisfying about burning the shit out of weeds. When you turn it up full blast the sound is like something out of Mad Max.
I've killed all the weeds now but I'm feeling somewhat conflicted because I don't want them to grow back too soon but I really keen to torch the bejesus out of them again.

I have to say there is something primal and deeply satisfying about burning the shit out of weeds. When you turn it up full blast the sound is like something out of Mad Max.
I've killed all the weeds now but I'm feeling somewhat conflicted because I don't want them to grow back too soon but I really keen to torch the bejesus out of them again.

Funny, I was looking at the same one in my "I'm over it, what about burning it all" phase as I have dandelion weed into clover into bindii and already chatted to several landscapers to just tear it all up and redo with seeds since I plan to move dwarf fruit trees and properly trim things also. Nah OG quote I got was around 600 per hour, and we spent less than 1 hour speaking to him since it was "here's what we have and development, we need a certified response on these points, and my boot firmly entrenched up her arse" since I am the one with fluid cash reserves to buy out her share in the estate, as I budget like a mofo.

I am talking multiple sheets frugal things.

Just means I get to look at more couches and seats and such... sometimes I love planting my arse on those to go "hmmm, think more" as I want right colour tones for my ideas and right softness to just melt anyone but not be that much of a pain in the arse to maintain...

We’re staying at The Adelaide Inn… reckon it’ll be booked out by now.

Try the airport hotel… we booked that quite late last year & it was the cheapest by a mile. Ended up not going (free cancellation) but friends stayed there & said it was great.

Only 15 min cab/Uber into town too

There's about 4 different places along North Terrace, but the Intercontinental and Stamford Plaza are literally straight across the river from the ground, I think there's a couple of Oaks apartment places but both are a bit further along North Terrace, and then there's the Mayfair 100 meters down King William Street....

The Pullman would be a 5 minute walk, as would the Crowne Plaza......

Annoying yapper on my end having graduated from fastest player since they didn't want me kicking into the 50 and I hated sliding into the fence in wet weather cause people give right ol shoves.

They tried to start me in forward averages 4 goals before they found out that I couldn't defend worth a damn under a ball since I wasn't the same BP that my father was as obviously I preferred kicking over him as any kid does.
