teams has a lot of stuff for business that's pretty good, but its a complicated sort of thing, and frankly i think Microsoft are now more profit driven then ever, and i'd use any alternative to their software.

My organisation uses TEAMS and it is pretty good, but I am terrified that I might accidentally link up my personal MS stuff to my employer's account. And getting out of that maybe harder than unsubcribing form Amazon Prime which I have been trying to do for three months months so far. (or worse, you accidentally invite your boss to a private chat)

Well an interesting week in store. Just looking at the latest tracking predictions for Cyclone Alfred, if it goes as they're currently predicting, I'll be directly in the firing line on Thursday. I'm on one of the sand islands off Brisbane, and you may have noticed my user name. Well, yes, I'm in a very low lying area right near the beach. Crazy times ahead!

Haha yeah, perhaps "dudeonhigherground" at the very least. Seems it's tracking south/southeast kinda parallel with the mainland at the mo' but they're expecting it to turn west tomorrow and come straight on by Thursday. Probably only have tomorrow to get off the island, already huge swell and they'll be stopping the ferries soon. A few of the beachfront houses around here are in trouble.

Got a notification that my Amazon delivery arrived, cause I caved and got a slicer for cheese as my grater is hacking at it since it's shit.
Literally saw the driver get to the gate, look at it, drop the package at the open gate and walk off. Didn't even bother the extra 4 steps to knock on a door or window or something.

A guy i work with claims he saw the postie pull up at the end of his street.
Fill in half a dozen cards that said " you were not at home ", then ride along putting them in letterboxes.
We had Hello Fresh delivered on Sunday, I was in the office (at the very front of the house, literally a few feet from the front door) and the guy dropped the box at the door, and did not knock, did not press the bell, just dropped it a the door and walked away!!

Had similar with a previous delivery, I was in my kitchen, walking to my lounge to go check the mail via my front door, saw a driver walk up, drop a box, start to walk away, I kinda followed him out about 5 steps behind to check my mail, he ended up looking at me weirdly and I said hello, smiled and walked back inside.
It's like not my fault you CBF and it's my property, so know that I know that you failed and enjoyed it.
I believe it, have had customers state drivers not sticking around if they see lines at major locations to drop pallets off so they'll mark as random instances to say "we tried" when really all feedback has been "we saw them drive in, look at line, drive out immediately" type comments.
Hence my I wish I could half arse my job comment since I give clear instruction during work hours as I am direct line of sight to a door that I keep open as rando cat likes to ruin my things outside, and I have 3 doors, so don't deliver to my other doors during work hours you dumbarses. But nope, not this driver.
In any event, I now need to find space for my cheese slicer in the short term until I can fix the cabinetry and storage situation and also recover some bench space in said kitchen as dire need of an update. Then I get to making bread and make my own home sammiches.
