used to love going somewhere like that and she would say:
youre not wearing a ****ing metal shirt

My all time classic wrong shirt moment was when I was about 18. A smoking hot girl I was into was getting baptised in a river and had invited me. I partied the night before... big time. I crashed at the party house and asked a dude who lived there if I could borrow a clean shirt. He gave me a Jim Beam T shirt. I showed up at her baptism still slightly tripping on acid wearing that shirt. She was appalled and embarrassed. About two weeks later she was my girlfriend lol.

Knew a pommy guy who was a hippy in the 70s.
He told me how he sold a plain white T-shirt off his back at Kings Cross for $50 bucks to a guy who wanted to look neat to do a "deal".

That moment you re-read the instructions and it's for meat on the bone and you have mince so you wend up with;

Is this meat overcooked?
Is this rice going to be mush?
Are these chilis and such burned to a crisp?
Is this gravy or water?
What's the point or garlic if it's got that much spice there and you add it that early?

And I still have maybe 2 mins before I take the lid off.

Last time I use box biryani mix...

Edit: one bite is all it took, yep, there should not be a crunch and yet there is a crunch and a taste of "things that are burned beyond repair" as probably the onion & garlic TBH.

It's an ok show. I just don't get the hype. Saul has just joined. I see potential there so I might watch a few more episodes but I'm barely just hanging on tbh.
I think the weekly airing schedule of it really helped build hype around the show. That's the thing that's missing from most TV shows these days - they drop all at once and there's no weekly wait to see how the story gets resolved.

Breaking Bad was one of those shows where the 7 day wait only made things more exciting.

Thought I'd give Breaking Bad a try. I really don't get the hype surrounding this show. I'm into season 2 and I don't think I can do it. It's just.... meh. Predictable... plot holes everywhere... and meh.

I was watching it , but couldn't keep it up.
Appparently the best scene was from a spin off, which also features a guy from "what we do in the shadows"

Yeah I thought it was completely fine but nothing to write home about. But also timing was probably bad, it was in the heyday of premium TV just after The Sopranos and The Wire so had a lot to live up to.

Haha it was during the game last Sunday wasn't it? If he got a week he might be able to come as the sub after half time 🤔

This is the play, though he might be back to the review afterwards, depends on his friends events.

My son and i were watching Soprano's on binge, suddenly they changed the streaming agreement :/
I hate streaming, FTA costs no bandwidth and no money, now you have a dozen streaming services you need to pay for, and unless you pay a shitload you still get the advertising.

lol

Unlike a saints crowd, it filled up pretty quickly.

Same old Tommy. A few cheesy Dad jokes but fmd the man is a beast of a player. Turns 70 this month and has lost nothing. Freak.
Apparently he used a Jimmy Cargill made acoustic on his last album! Saw him acoustic once in Portland and electric once with a band in Warrnambool.......

looks like a saints sized crowd lol

It's kinda funny these things, I'm generally at Melb Recital Centre, and if you show up "on time" for doors open it'll generally be a "seating for 150, 20 show up" sort of instance. Doors open, you sit down, see people pop in and out to make sure everything is set, everything is nice everything oh shit peoples run to back room. Then with like maybe 5 to go, there's a sea of people and you are standing more than sitting so everyone can get to their seats.

The art crowd really like their standing in line for overcharged watered drinks then standing in line again for overpriced gimmicks around such things.

artsy fartsy types have no idea

The stuff they show at Hamer hall and the MRC isn't arty. Next time you come over I'll take you out to see some real arthouse stuff.
