Holy **** it might be the GOAT HBO tv season.

The first series was very good, they got progressively shitter by the season.

Enjoy it before it turns to poop in the latter seasons like Gringo said

Yeah they're still good mate
Not at their mega peak but they do put on a good show
Saw them sat night.
Hetfield still has an immense presence with his vocals, otherwise they weren't as tight as expected.
At one point early on (may have been during Creeping Death) Rob stopped playing after missing some notes and started joking with Kirk.
We were in GA1 and the sound was pretty good, but I also had mates in GA2 and in the seats and they reported it was utter garbage. Would have preferred the 360 degree stage which may have rectified that.
Crowd was super respectful even considering 90% were overweight blokes in their 40's like myself, only saw 1 dh slam dancer that was quickly brought to heel.

Overall, solid night out.
Evanesence absolutely killed it. ST not so much, we were lining up for merch at that stage so didnt miss out on anything there.
Shoutout to the LuWow bar on Little Collins St for delicious pre gig cocktails and amazingly knowledgeable bar staff.

I have a mate that went to the Perth show. He's a killer guitar player. He said that sound wise, Evanesence guitar and bass sound was phenomenal. He's not really a fan of them but he was raving about it.

LuWow is actually pretty good. Saw ST headlining on Friday night and they were great. It was a weird choice as a support for Metallica. LA skate punk really has no relevance other than they were both from the same era.

Two boxes of junk ready for the skip.
Many more boxes to go, and beds and things to disassemble cause dangit, main room will be MINE!

However today was meant to be looking at washers & dryers, but then I'd need to move a freezer which means moving some other storage things around and it became far too involved to actually get both, so instead, I'll canvass what people recommend on that front.

And thank god for Amazon boxes cause CBF going up the road to Storage King to get proper boxes.

Rob's son plays in ST.
I was hoping he would play a song with his young bloke because that would be pretty cool to see.

Secret Santa idea for a bloke?
Around $150?
Help

Actually one of my go tos is a really nice chef's knife. You'd get a pretty decent one for that but if he's more outdoors, a really nice fishing or hunting knife. Leather scabbard and brass rivets sort of setup.

Is what I was going to suggest, a really good knife or knives plural depending. As one for scaling and one for meats for eg, as you can get away with a few things as an outdoors person but you always need a good trusty knife on you for anything, be it scaling a fishie or trying to cut wire or prepare the food after filleting said fish.
