Literally just walked into room, picked up wash basket, asked old man why it was the opposite side of the room and watched as he took it from me, threw it, slipped, hit the wall behind him and slid down like a cartoon. He then grabbed a pillow, started telling the heater off, hit the heater with the pillow, looked at the pillow, recognised that it was soft, so started slapping the heater directly. He has bandages on both hands.

When the mind goes, it goes.

I imagine that washbasket deserved it, was probably plotting treason.

It wasn't all so easy back then.

Get call from nurse; "bring this, this and this." Me being all yes, no, no.
Get to emergency as instructed, get told what bed, get to bed and;
Empty.
Get told in Emergency got shifted to a ward, essentially to GTFO.
Get to reception as not told what bed in ward, stated I came from Emergency.
Lady 1: Ward # I already knew cause emergency.
Lady 2: bed I was just at that is empty in emergency.
The two look at each other.
Reaffirmed what ward and directed there, but again, no bed #, why is this so hard people?
Go to ward, ask what bed, get directed to bed by nurse there. She was great!
Find old man, he's eating dinner, literally shivering as cold. Blanket in room, so that goes on him.
Nurse stops by for a hello as if he wasn't eating dinner "hey, who are you?" to my "his son, hello to you as well. He's cold and shaking by the way."
She looks at him, looks at me, "all we've got is blankets" and starts mumbling and rabbiting off excuses and I don't care, just get something to warm the man up FFS.
Put his shoes on as he had a ped give him velcro padded shoes so they might be warmer than socks only at least, she rocks up with 2 more blankets and just dump them on him.

I actually tore my meniscus, nothing to do with the patella hehe. Point of the story is I've got a knee brace on and coupled with the mid top socks, the calves (esp the right one) is looking insane. All I need now is birds to gawk at it.

My mate in Perth goes to a gym near Scarborough and says the same, high quality crumpet. Something about the western water probably.

What a day. Kitchen reno started, physio just after lunch, imparted some wisdom into a bunch of plonkers in the trade thread, got a pulsating workout done (arms are looking huge rn) and now capping it all off with the 000 razor on the cranium coupled with a pristine beard fade.

Just another day in the life of the greatest. Me.
