Yep, I'm one of them, the luckiest generation in the history of the world. Everything, literally everything, handed to us and we grew up expecting it to continue. That included priceless, precious hope, optimism and genuine belief that all the stuff that was wrong with the world would also be fixed in our lifetime. All of that is long gone now and we are to blame for letting it go.

It's because far too many of us became very selfish and complacent and were satisfied to take the money, in complete betrayal of the values that gave us the socioeconomic escalators we rode up and which we were supposed to hold. My contemporaries and I wonder why younger generations don't hate us for the mess we've left behind.

Truly, there is not a single public or private institution that functions like it used to whether it is business, government agency, political, religious or community organisation. Multinational corporations are utter thieves and will destroy the planet for profit and governments, even the few good ones, if you can think of any, are powerless to stop them, or turn the tide, because we the people don't demand it.

Our social structure is fractured, values increasingly meaningless, knowledge of how things work and the wisdom to do it is failing and politically nations are turning increasingly to rightwing lunatics, which have never, in the history of humanity, ever been good for the populace.

I apologise for the rant. I only meant to say I've not even heard of most of those TV shows, except for Vera, which my wife loves - but I could write those scripts as the formula is set like my concrete driveway! Sorry again, my bad, got triggered because of recent events.

Whelp, he got tapped to drain the fluid as tablets were doing almost nada, always fun when you're outside the room and hear one of them go "be right back, I need a bigger syringe" like, you should be prepared already and you need a bigger thicker piece of metal with which to stab with? Give that man a sword.

15min later and job done, now spend 6 hours in one position so you don't stab yourself further or crush the bag of now liquid that was once inside you.

All this from him being obstinate on the way in and how he was so going to get up out of bed and walk outta there cause they're so full of shit and I have NFI what I'm doing here to 30mins later not even finding the bed in the room as he was in getting the ultrasound.

All this to say, hoisin pork really tastes like sad, I guess too much soy is the problem, and I'm over eating dinner closer to 8pm NGL.
