I'd say that non trans males would be much higher rape stats than trans people by far even in schools. The fact that they are trans doesn't make them a rapist. It's like wanting to ban black people because a black kid r*ped someone at a school.

What modern pools have group showers? That sounds a bit hard to believe to be honest. Of course women should be protected but you don't need to create boogymen.....or boogypeople.

"This indicates that they retained a male pattern regarding criminality."

I think you’re missing the point which imo is that we don’t get to decide what women should or shouldn’t be fine with. I was simply pointing out not all trans are harmless and women have good reason and every right to not want them using the same bathroom in exactly the same way they have the right to not want men in there.

Italians and Greeks have big machines that make it, but I imagine even that's a pain in the arse to clean and operate

When I was a kid in Carlton the Italian families would get the kids to whack olives with the bottom of a beer bottle then they’d chuck them in big plastic barrels of brine. Looked easy as. The splitting was pretty boring though.

Still think that it’s an issue that most probably never even confront except on line.

Here's a joke to try on an oppo supporter that gives you the shi.ts.
Let's say that they barrack for the Pies -

You say, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"
You answer, "to see the dumb Collingwood supporter."

They'll think that's it and say what a lame joke it is.

Wait ten seconds (or more).

You say, "knock, knock."
They say, "Who's there?"
You say, "the chicken".

It's easy to convert to a non football joke.

As a young guy in my early teens I was not much of fan of that show when it was on.

I was, however, a very big fan of Heather Thomas in a small bikini standing in between those saloon doors.......
who wasn't

Dirty Dancing: Vegan Edition

Seeing that brings back some memories , a group of us from work were staying at the place in the photo for an end of year team building ( Piss up ) and after 900 beers late at night the dirty dancing song came on and one thing led to another with me running at one of the guys from work , He is a huge bastard and when i jumped for him to catch he didn't get my waist and instead put his thumb through my rib cage, I knew straight away I was in trouble as he proceeded to throw me up into the air over and over , each time his thumb making it worse and worse

Ps , this is just outside Geelong ( Yeah hard to believe )

They played "I've had the time of my life" after the Robbie Williams concert.
All the concert goers were all singing and carrying on while they were leaving.
I must be the only sour bastard in the universe that hated that song when it came out and continues to hate it.

Crap song from a crap chick flick.

So haven't been up to it, but, suffice to say, my vigil ended yesterday evening.

This is a somewhat freeing and mostly entirely shit experience, though did manage to come home last night and then cry to my neighbour so... there is that I suppose. Amazing that 24hrs later I can type it but speaking it still a bit hard you know?

I like to think that since I was speaking to my younger sister and it was quite frank at the time, he just decided then and there to leave us to it.

Hope you're alright mate, it'll be 10 years in Feb since my old man suddenly passed. It's obviously extremely tough to start but if I could give you any advice it would be to keep doing things that you had a connection to him with, whatever that is. For me it was music.

If you can honour him in any way that's really therapeutic too. Gets a little easier with time and easier to cope if you live your life in the hope of making him proud.

PM if you need 👍

My old man was a keen gardener and he died more than 20 years ago. I still have all his orchids in my garden. I've also got seeds that he gave me, and I save the seeds and grow them every year. Helps me to keep his memory alive!

Haha! I have some of my old man's orchids too, funny. My old man and I bonded the most over the Saints and music, so I paid extra to have his name on any club stuff over the years - members once off guernseys, plaques at the club, move to Moorabbin etc. Converted all his old vinyls to digital (kept the vinyls too) for safekeeping.

It's small stuff but it makes a hell of a difference. People only cease to exist when they're forgotten, honouring them in whatever way you can I reckon is super important.

You gotta think if they came back and saw you, would they be proud of the man you became. That kind of shit really keeps me going. Really important to let your loved ones that have passed on live through you.

F*ck people are living rough. The littering pissed me off too. Pigs.

ps not his angelic singing again at the end lmao
We've got it good. Some of the stuff I've seen in Greece was bad. There's a decent sized community of gypsies (in this case they're from northern India) there and they always look dishevelled and for some reason always treat their kids like shit. Core memories formed watching them belt their children in crowded public places lol

My families village is reminiscent of some of these hoods but it's a village so you kind of expect it, this is a suburb in a major city.

You've NFI how hard it is to find a space to hold a wake at this sort of time period. It's either fully booked out, under redevelopment, or can't do things on such short notice, is ridiculous.

Thankfully, over some singapore noodles had an idea, lady I spoke with was lovely, they had an opening AND staff available and it's at our old stomping ground as they previously did a thing where they can now hold such an event.

Step 2, yay, only took what 2 days and 6 other places knocking us back? And I will state, as like 99.95% finalised, tomorrows sun, look for a Sunbury Friday funeral notice, as that's where I'll be...
