If their dream of AI taking over everyone's jobs comes true, then they'll have to come up with something. Corporations not wanting to pay tax might make that harder to achieve though.

Talking of AI it's already taking jobs. My brother in law owns a company that makes high end websites, 5 years ago they couldn't get enough coders so would get guys in from Asia. In India they had a plan to teach all kids coding by some specified year. Now they do coding with AI and don't pay anyone. 4 local jobs gone permanently. They downsized their office from the city to a smaller one in Cremorne because they need so many less staff now and don't need the space.

My mate who works for Google is in the US and sent us a video in Waymo driverless car. Looks creepy as *. Don't know how many are driving yet or if they are just driving around Silicon Valley but it's coming.

Actually just rewatched my mates Waymo ride video. Looks like it's running in heavy peak hour traffic in a big city maybe LA and bike riders and cars all around it. It must be out on the streets. He's got it up on Insta but I won't post it because he's got his name on it but this one someone else put up on Youtube.

I actually googled them both. One is in security at Google and he's an open book. We've got another IT mate who thinks he's a spy or something. He has all kinds of s**t to hide online incase people hack him or steal his boring nerd stuff off him.
