Just saw a doctor about my foot and i really liked this guy, if not my foot.
Lifranc injury = potentially very bad, take it very conservatively means i'm still in the moonboot for a while.
If it doesn't all go well, potential bone fusion surgery which means i'm back to square one, starting in a cask.

Dammit my foot doesn't even hurt.

Sorry to hear of your foot troubles, with the Lisfranc was there a particular incident that caused it? Some type of impact or a weird weight shift strain or something?

I had home intruders and needed to kick box the shit out of them....

OK the truth.
I had gastro, ran low on electrolyte until i was randomly falling down.
I fell after an emergency run, and somehow kicked the wall to try to save myself.
bloody stupid situation.

Had a fracture on the second, right in the Lisfranc area.

Tried my hand at making a satay sauce, used too much coconut sadly.

Be sure to triple check your recipes people, as I am now ordering in. Also found a mob that sell their own peanut sauce so might just get that instead next time.

Just mixing Peanut Butter with chilli, and soy sauce directly in the pan seems to work passably.

If you get some decent red curry paste like this (you can get it from the supermarket now), cook it off in a bit of oil then add a bit of coconut milk and peanut butter. Add a bit of lime, sugar and soy to balance the flavours that makes a decent satay sauce.

Haha we have zero leverage with the US and everyone knows it. All they need from us is a bit of land for military bases - unless we plan on kicking them out and cosying up with China then there's literally no strength we can credibly show.

Not sure, realistically our population was never going to get big enough fast enough to be of true global significance. Very hard to grow a country fast without destroying the culture.
