It doesn't rhyme dude.
I don't understand exactly what that means, but it certainly has a negative vibe.........

Do you lot agree the e vehicles have hit a major stumbling block..several big names are changing their tune and timelines now.
Toyota were right up on "billboard" power.Late to the convo which I suppose is good because I know f**k all about cars, but I own two V6 Aurions one a 2012 and one a recently purchased Presara 2017 the last ones ever built.
They look like a tricked up Camry but go like the clappers with their Lexus 3.5L engine.
Around 9 litres to a 100k in the city, about 6.5 in the country.
Bland af ( Presara is top of the line with bells and whistles) but every time I test drive another car they feel gutless in comparison.

The Chinese production is the issue for them as they can create price points that can beat their local ones.Someone with contacts there told me the big brands in Europe/Germany were going full stream electric, and it didn't take off like they thought, and now they want to backpeddle somewhat , and they are struggling to get the people who can do it, They had laid off or retired a lot of their Internal Combustion Engine experts.
The Chinese production is the issue for them as they can create price points that can beat their local ones.
The future of the automobile is 100% going to be electric and people can put all the laugh emojis they want on that concept but the reality is that fossil fuels are a finite resource and eventual cost is going to make them unusable for out energy needs. Internal combustion is still going to be with us for a while yet but the arguments against electric just seem to ignore the writing on the wall that eventually that source is just not going to exist.
I got one as a lease car because all costs are taken pre-tax and there's no FBT.E vehicles should be renamed S vehicles with the S standing for shit.
This guy explains the UK situation nicely (I think!)
I then looked at a few YouTube pages. Didn’t bother to watch, it is just wall-to-wall, (or rather ‘ceiling-to-floor’) videos about the implosion of e-vehicle sales.
I would contend three things.
1) we don’t know about the hidden costs of e vehicles yet, long term, batteries etc.
2) other technologies, including hybrids etc, ammonia/battery etc, might be in the pipeline
3) look at the world’s usage of coal. Numerous countries have tried to get rid of it and still rely (or relied) on it to get them through. In Japan, the late ‘50s was the time of a big policy switch. Coal to be phased out. Japanese still call it the ‘energy revolution’ and explain away the demise of the domestic coal industry that way. Meanwhile, Japans coal consumption peaked in about 2017**!!!
So not so soon, I would guess.
**Thanks La Trobe Valley, thanks Queensland, thanks Hunter Valley.. you’re welcome.
Someone better break the news to these manufacturers because they're all going fully electric.
Jaguar, Audi, Volvo, Rolls Royce, Fiat, Betley, Mercedes, Ford, Volkswagen, Hondo, Hyundai....
NoDid you actually listen to him?
You obviously didn’t listen to the video.Someone better break the news to these manufacturers because they're all going fully electric.

There seems to be a lot of bias about.Victorians asked to turn off power during high temperatures, but yes let’s of course go full electric lol
Where does cobalt come from again?
What do they win?Toyota were right up on "billboard" power.
200 Killer wasps right?
The 3.5 has 220KW at 6600RPM. - No-one is driving round at 6600RPM , if its auto , you probably need to hold it in gear to get it to rev that hard.
It has peak torque, 350NM at 5500rpm , still fairly fast.
A Barra ( not turbo ) has just 190KW , but its at 5250rpm.
Its peak torque is 391Nm at a lazy 3250RPM.
In between the peak torque and the peak power is the place you "feel " the grunt , but hey Toyota have 220KW so they win.
Chief, you keeping your mods on their toes?So I just took a look outside and both of my bins were strewn across my driveway still full, so, someone be playing funny buggers and I am not impressed...

The power in the city is moot, can only go 100k and usually only 50 or 60. I love the acceleration in country driving for overtaking. 2012 Aurion has done 180klm without missing a beat, has another 120k in it. The Persara has flash things like a sun roof to give you melanoma while driving, flash seats, bells and whistles and flashy light thinges when other cars invade its personal space. But my main thrill is it has DAB so I can listen to Double J.
Never had either car over 140klm, no need. Still for a standard car, as I said a tricked up Camry with a Lexus engine, it is nice for a non rev head. My brother who is an absolute rev head would be appalled at my lack of knowledge.
