People who use the word "claret" when they're talking about blood, must be sent to the chambers.

Who does this and where are they? This is very obvious a red wine instance and as I've a bottle I shall have stern words with them...

This is unreal. Best highlight reel I've seen
Starc had a 3 wicket maiden over, including a wicket with his first ball
Starc took five-wickets in 15 balls, the fastest in TEST history
Starc took 6 wickets in total, including his 400 test wicket
Boland only took a hattrick ;)
WI all out for 27, second lowest score in test history

I watched it, I think they were 7 with 5 wickets down.

NRL and old timers from NSW, I can’t say that I’ve ever heard someone use it in my presence.

There are always words that seem to have some local flavour or are pronounced differently from state to state. We can’t even agree of what various beer sizes are, parmi, parma, potato cake, potato scallop. All I’ll say is that bogan lad seems to be a badge of honour north of the border.

It generally doesn’t fly down here but it’s gold in NSW and QLD, Richo, Albo, Singo, Karl and on and on Kyle and Jackie O.

This kills me

F*ck AI

Yeah it's pretty crazy when you think about Spotify and their 'curated' playlists being fleshed out with their own AI tunes. Spotify pays a fee to the rights owner of a song, but hang on minute they thought, what if we own the rights to songs we can then infuse into our (your) playlists, and collect those fees as well as not having to pay real artists. Double whammy!

I've tooled around with Suno a little, but only to take the piss out of my friends (or the Saints). You can write your own lyrics and have it make a song which is how I've used it.

A few months ago a good mate of mine, Andy, was having a birthday dinner party with about ten people, all old friends, so I wrote a song for him, had Suno put together the tune, and it had it's public debut that night after dinner, many bottles of red and giant Captain Risky style spiffs. Its called "Loudmouth"...

Some lyrics if you wanna sing along at home...

Loudmouth

V1: Andy's talkin' loud at night
Crap nonstop, he ain't too bright
Always thinks he knows it all
A little pudgy, not real tall.

V2: Drink in hand he won't shut up
Just keep growing his beer gut.
Opinions fly like broken springs
Sippin' cider sayin' stupid things

Ch: Andy come on won't you listen
Spillin' stuff and always dissin'
Diarrhoea your mouth is pissin'
Think it's time for prohibition

V3: Knows it all but hears no one
Again he's talkin' from his bum
His small world he thinks is grand
Pint sized tiny knob in hand

V4: Eyes roll every time he speaks
Twerkin' truth is what he tweaks
Underneath the laughter, cool
Andy is a bloody tool

Ch: Andy come on won't you listen
Dribblin' shit and talking fishin'
You ain't got no face for kissin'
Dopey look, some brain cells missin'

🥴

And so on, I'm sure you get the picture. And if anyone out there has a mate called Andy feel free to use it to your advantage. 💩

Edit... forgot to mention Andy's a Collingwood supporter. 🤨

Trump covering up the Epstein stuff? And then turning on the supporters that are upset at him pulling this move?

This one hurts, bros

Was never going to be, too many vested interests in keeping that carrot dangling as can you just imagine;

Sitting president, ex presidents 1-4, princes from several nations, celebs and all the glitz and glamour that the USA fawns over named and shamed as "see that 13yo, isn't she hawt?" types. How many scythes would come out to behead all of them in public all at the same time?

No chance anyone sees actual incriminating anything from any release of any data from that world.

Even those court docs that got released ages ago that are redacted, where you can read witness testimony from a case, some 2k docs in a PDF for that transcript, that scratches the surface of just how corrupt, vile and bereft of morality and etc that just has to be deeper in to the raw unfiltered what's probably on the dark web and has been for a while probably.

Im looking at putting in a 30kw solar battery system. Will make me go pretty much off grid and I’ll have about a weeks power in the event of an outage. In the event of a cyclone 🌀 If the sun pops back out I’ll be good.
The more I look into it the more I like it.

I was thinki9ng about such things, before I got stuck with probate, to say I have space, get both morning and setting free and clear so it seemed a no brainer. That I have gas pre-existing and what's happening there has me cooled on things as how much gets torn out, replaced and what have you in that end.

But yeah, it's not where I'd like it to be quite yet as far too much Chinese junk floating around still and say German got bought out by American so too much flux and screwing around if an issue arises. But has gotten much better as the years go on that it's gone down and down in expectations of when people might get benefits for such a venture, which is only a good thing.

I figure I'll come back to it when I get to fixing the roof on my end as then might as well get panels and a battery then in earnest. Who knows if 2-3 years or plus down the line. You could do worse with such a set up.

I was holding back because I think the rebate may change things a bit and was speaking to the installer and it has already. New players and products coming into the market. I’m looking at Deye inverter and batteries.

Just because I am a petty SOB and this probate nonsense is dragging like dogs balls on a good time. Property management peeps in Doncaster that share their name with building materials are friggen hilarious in their ineptitude.

Date one - no call no show.
Date two - no call no show.
Date three - no call no show.

We're in the salty runback section peoples, ready for round four; foundational f- up as they'll likely miss this date also, even though I have now included actual instruction of where one might access if you didn't have any map whatsoever to reference.

Apart for the aquaduct, of course

NO one expects the Spanish Inquisition.
Everyone expects the Praetorian Guard.

And yeah those Aqueducts were and are truly masterful, pretty sure one is still funnelling water to a place in Rome still. Centuries later. Acqua Vergine.

1st-UK, 2nd-USA, 3rd-Africa, l'd guess, The Romans were fairly ordinary.

Discounting France and Russia heavily.

France and England spent a few centuries pissing off everyone around them, then themselves, then everyone else again.
Russia being Russia went "I'm the king nao" and off'd all other opponents to exist, then everyone that didn't tow the "yep, you're king nao' instance so that turn of the 20th century they could lose millions and go "meh, tis but a scratch" cause WW2 would make WW1 look like a childs play for losses.

I had them 5th & 6th, in no particular order ;)

Spain would be out in front of Russia by a long way. China and Russia have been pretty weak in foreign influence considering. Russia created buffers to keep Europe away.
