I chose a song while i was driving via Siri. I used YouTube music as it's a random live performance video on YouTube.

This

After it had finished playing, the other song just came on.

I'm fairly new to YouTube music as I have Apple Music. I got it so I can play stuff like that as music while I'm driving. Call me naive, but I was pretty surprised to have AI bullshit fed to me after I chose a song like that.

Yeah I just have autoplay off on all the platforms, I know too much about how it's implemented and how bad their incentives are.

That's a good cover though!

Vinyl day

Korn..Requiem.
RATM.. Battle of Los Angeles
Evil Empire
Deftones...Diamond Eyes
Sound garden.. Badmoterfinger
Iron Maiden..Live after Death 40th Anniversary
Wow, hard to believe Live after Death is 40!!!

Still think the Aces High kick-off to that show was one of the greatest starts to a live set ever........

Motorcycles>helmets>Arai??

Hey
Any motorcycle riders out there?
Bought a Shoei Neotec helmet in 2016.
It felt good trying out in the shop, but after a few weeks it felt tight at the front.
Now it causes me so much pain in the forehead after about 30-40 mins of riding
I live in Japan where helmets are rounder and less oval-yes, even the Japanese brands. (Their export models are shaped differently)

Anyway, after much research I decided that an Arai helmet, even Japan specs, is my best bet (unless I fly to Australia)

I have to buy one size bigger just to get the fore-aft part of my jug inside without cracking it. They’ll put oversized padding on the sides to fill it out. Not ideal but less of the two evils.

So I think I’m settled on the Arai I want but I just got one question. Arai, are no doubt premium, the other stuff felt like plasticy second-rate after I tried theirs, but ARai insist on having this clumsy strap thing with two d-shaped rings which I have to thread the strap through (instead of the simple ratchet like click ‘n push thing all another brand’s have.

I read there are hacks that experienced riders use so that this awkward issue can be made easier. Is anyone familiar with one? Or does one just get used to threading the damn thing everytime - definitely a two hands job

I ride and those D shaped rings while clumsy are the safest option you can get. Ryan from Fortnine does a good video explaining why. I can't recall exactly what the reason was.

I'm not sure I've ever had a helmet with any other option and that has included Shoei, Arai, AGV, Bell etc.. maybe it's different in Japan though.

I think you will quickly get used to them anyway. The key is remembering to put your gloves on last after you've put your helmet on.

So it with much sadness I must announce that my time on this forum may well be coming to an end. While I enjoy my time here very much, recent events have left me rattled to say the least.

See… I had a dream last night

And it went a little something like this…..

It was my birthday. My girlfriend told me rather than a traditional gift, my present this year was “an experienence”. She took me to an ice skating rink. When we got there I could see out on the ice there were 5 stunningly beautiful women skating in a row. Each was facing forward with their right hand behind them. The next girl in line held that person’s hand with their left hand etc. I got my skates on and was introduced to the last girl in the line. She was a drop dead gorgeous Korean girl. At this point my girlfriend wished me happy birthday and left. I went out on the ice and the girls took their formation. I went to hold the hand of the Korean girl but she shook her head, unzipped my fly and pulled out my manhood. She told me I didn’t need to skate, just keep my feet slightly apart and they’d take me around. So off we went. All the girls facing forward with me last in line getting pulled around by “little sully” (copyright gringo and stav). The girl looked around and said it’s better if I raise both hands in the air and tilt my head back … so I did. It was quite the scene. There was a professional photographer there taking pictures as we went round and round the rink so I could “share them with my family and friends later” 🤪

So that wrapped up and next thing I was on the streets of Melbourne. Outside a building was a stand with a screen on it. I pressed the screen and Gringo appeared., he asked me if I’d enrolled in the course yet. I said I had. He asked if I had the textbooks. I said yes. He said he needed to see them immediately so my girlfriend went to the car and got them. Gringo then made me hold them up with the pages open so he could take notes. He told me he was going to commit all this to memory and that I could sit next to him in exams and cheat off him.

Next I was down a side alley in the city. A fresh faced immaculately dressed fellow approached me. “Sully” he said, obviously pleased to see me. “Dard” I replied, obviously pleased to see him. We chatted for a bit out W.A but then I got an idea. I told him to follow me and we went down the alley and through a door. And there we were… at the ice skating rink. I took Dard over and introduced him to the Korean girl. I said just go with them and they’ll sort you out. I left chuckling to myself as he was putting on his skates, looking quite confused.

I think Risky is right. Maybe I do need to log off.
