Okay everyone - serious question. Playing pick-up sticks with my grand-children and both hate losing. Couldn't believe getting upset because one or the other got the black one stick and cleaned up. Hopefully it is just an age thing (6 and 8). How do you teach kids to be a good losers?
At that age children thinks the universe revolve around them, it's a pretty normal reaction i would think and nothing to worry about.
When their older hopefully after watching the pies lose 1-2 games a year and gracefully shaking their opponents hands they'll learn
the best thing i reckon now is to talk to them about why losing is okay, but it probably won't sink it till their older
