Pumped the ashes is about to start, looking at our line up i'm seriously worried though.

Rogers is a worry at the top of the order, only 2 matches. Cowan at 3 is consistently average, and hughes at 5 is likely to implode or explode. Starc pattinson and agar is a hugely inexperienced bowling attack, stunned that agar is playing over lyon.

Get right around the Ashes, played cricket at Richmond with Agar, has talent but his selection does surprise me. He isn't ready yet.

Looking at our batting line up is frightening, its abysmal.

Need J Pat to take 30 wickets this series for us to have chance, bowling is our only area of some strength.

Smith and Agar as our 4th and 5th bowlers makes me seriously worried too

I can just see our top order falling over again, watson and rogers is dodgy

Agreed,

Watson - soft
Rogers - unproven
Cowan - Disappointing to this point in time
Clarke - Injury prone
Hughes - no heart, not good enough
Smith - Not test material
Haddin - "hole out" Haddin, mentally soft

So now that you've posted that, smashing the Poms 10 nil seems inevitable.:thumbsu::D

Honestly though I pine for another Alan Border. Proved you can make strawberry jam out of pig shit.

Im relatively young, but I tell you what, I LOVE Steve Waugh, he was a jet who refused to give any opponent an inch, absolute champion.

AB would go ok now too!

Don't mind the tests but I love the 50 overs best. Like a mini test. - Have absolutely no time for the 20/20, more like hit and run that we used to play in the street or backyard when I was a kid. In fact I think that this form of the game has ruined our batsmen.
Anyway, I was and will be watching the tests.

AB built a world's best side from a rabble, Waugh inherited a great side and made it better. In between Tubby Taylor oversaw some of the greatest modern era cricketers this country has ever produced. Warne was a once in a life time player.
