Worst conditions I can recall at footy park, and my first visit there was 1978 or so. A storm was definitely heading our way.
By far the worst and I first went to games at Footy Park in 1974.

..... Williams should've resigned that evening.
That may have saved us from a few years of heartache.

Yeah that was horrible... I sat in the outer without a poncho and just drank myself into oblivion that day.

We should so go to the footy together.

Was sitting in the icebox of the new grandstand watching Russell and whoever else it was trundle round the boundary absolutely saturated.

Then the previously winless Tiges spanked us by 8 goals in a monsoon.

Williams should've resigned that evening.

Even though I liked that post - I reckon we're onto something special with Hinkley so I'm hesitant to go back and change history at this point...

If Choco had left earlier we could have avoided Primus, probably secured Hardwick and never hired Hinkley

I was wearing a poncho, but it didn't help much - wasn't even motivated enough to move to the northern stand. Numb.

Yeah, sliding doors and all that. Wingard, Wines, Hinkley.

You know what, as shit as 11-12 was we didn't pick up a lasting stain like a wooden spoon. That never washes out. For a fully cashed up and resourced club like say, West Coast - with all their advantages - to have that tattooed on their story forever is ridiculous, quite frankly.

Not us.

I thought Choco only lasted another month anyway

Nope. Still only 1900 the last one

Got my born and raised Crows fan of a GF sleeping in my "WE NEVER GIVE UP" tee, as well as starting to say 'we' and celebrate when WE kick goals... I told Dad she was worth sticking it out for!

Can't say I'm a fan favourite at the in-laws at the moment though, especially after I wore my guernsey to family dinner .

I invented a new extreme sport tonight. What you do is, attend an SANFL game, and point out to a wide-eyed, passionate SANFL supporter that the result of the game isn't very important because it is, after all, only a reserves league.

Enjoy.

haha I was there tonight. We were insipid, but the offended of the sanfl fans was great.

I saw Casual Keith and Undercover Wingard!

But yeah it was clear that for both the Norwood side and supporters this game was all about the sovereignty of the league. Never mind, we have time to chip away at that.
