I almost lost my beloved numberplate on some corrugated roads about 200km out from Uluru recently, it literally shook my front plate loose. Only noticed it was hanging barely by 1 screw when we stopped for a bit, this is why I pulled the trigger on new shocks and springs, my trusty toyota stock shocks and springs had done 300,000km like a total beast. Cable ties are the answer to all of lifes problems though, as I cable tied the plate onto my bullbar. That, and laughing at an indigenous gentleman who was passed out on the footpath being dragged by two fine looking policewomen in Coober Pedy.
