I still think it was a crime against humanity to link Bower Rd up with Grand Junction Rd. The lack of a 'direct' road from the North and East kept the peninsula just that little bit more isolated.

Folk who are even older remember when Bower Rd was unsealed and went through the top of the swamp we now know as West Lakes, that was originally (and somewhat ironically) called "Port Misery". Well we're out of there now
