In all honesty, it's difficult.

From their CEO down to their most loathsome supporters, to a man they gleefully sunk the boot in to the point where if the SANFL actually did rescind our licence and send in the creditors to extract their ill-gotten wedge, they would've slurped our tears while salting the scorched Alberton earth.

From a personal perspective I don't go searching for examples of them wallowing in their own misery (see Mz. Loades, etc) and beyond the odd snide comment on Twitter I rarely get on the front foot - I'm more a reactionary 'highlight stupidity/correct bullshit' kind of guy ("Dear Mr. Penberthy...) - but we're all learning that the transition period of us wielding a pretty massive stick both on and off the field is a power that comes with great responsibility.

In the next 12-36 months provided we continue tracking upwards in all our KPI's the era of snide fell-from-the-sky entitlement will be well and truly over and we can all move into a brave new world of rivalry more in keeping with the Collingwoods and Carltons of this competition - where it's purely about the footy and not socioeconomic drivel or all the 1990-1996 engineered off-field stuff.
