finny, do you secretly send irate letters to TV stations about poor grammatical & language choices in their current affairs shows?

I am picturing "shocking decline in standards" featuring highly among your most uttered phrases.

Pfffft. You should see the letter to the AFL I've drafted re the appalling standard of half time AusKick matches.

My wife has complaint letter templates on her computer, she loves to complain

Wish there was a cure for ******* eczema

Totally agree. It's a bitch of a condition to live with. My wife has it pretty severely and it torments her. I try everything to help but it doesn't make much difference. Wish some genius would come up with a solution.

"Dear Andrew Demitrou,

When I attended the qualifying final between Hawthorn and Adelaide on the 22nd of September, I was both shocked and appalled by the digustingly low standard of the half-time Auskick competition. I am a financial AFL club member, and as a portion of that income goes towards funding that junior competition, I demand to know what improvements you intend to make to the AFL's junior development scheme, as the current system clearly is not working!

I look forward to your prompt resolution of this issue, and will be contacting my very good friend, who is very high up in the Ministry of Sport, if a satisfactory conclusion is not reached.

Concerned Member,

I told as bloke to sit down at half time of the Swans Collingwood game as he was blocking my view of the AusKick.

Cracking game.

I'm a massive under performer , she doesn't need to send me letters she can give me a certain look and I know I've stuffed up, I see the look daily, in fact as I peer up from my iPad I can see it now

The auskick program actually sucks for us country people, very little support and the cost has almost doubled over the last few years. I invited younger kids to train with our junior colts this season because we couldn't. Get support from auskick

Also mentioned was -

*Poor goal umpiring attire.
*Lack of enthusiasm displayed by goal umpires when signaling scores.
*Loose interpretation of 'holding the ball' - particularly incorrect disposal and players running too far.

I get it bad once a year, usually coincides with a rise in temperature or I've touched something that sets it off, I use qv flare up oil for me it's the only thing that almost stops the eczema before it gets real bad

Just how many times can players kick the wrong way in one bloody game.

And the fact that the umpires pay so many marks that are clearly not there. Disgraceful stuff.

It turns out that throwing your phone at a wall makes it not work reliably. Who knew?

It might be a design flaw is it still under warranty?

No but I'm out of contract soon.

I thought Finland was the home of depressive alcoholics, I guess I just assumed that meant they knew what would happen to their phones, and that they would design them accordingly.

I think phones are made to break at unexpected times.

I've been able to drop my phone, land on the ground, then kick it into a wall, all in one motion, and not a scratch on it. But I can drop my phone all of 10cm from my hand to my desk for a crack to appear.

I still think it is a design flaw.

Mobile phones by the very nature of their name should be able to fly, swim, skydive and do all those other mobility focussed activities and not only survive but thrive.

Kind of like when chicks buy tampons and it, according to tv advertising, increases their ability to do more adventurous stuff.

This thread is much more enjoyable when, instead of b*tching about other AFL teams, we discuss more important matters, such as the hilarity tourettes and the standard of Auskick matches.

Had the same issue when I dropped mine in to a glass of diet coke. Don't make things like they used too. :p
Did you finish your glass of diet coke?

I was just going to comment how this is the most enjoyable thread on bigfooty, to go from eczema, to auskick, to Tourette's and then to the ability of phones to withstand human punishment is awesome.
