I saw a guy repping an Adelaide Strikers (?) shirt at the EF. And I mean repping. Was peacocking like Jason and his technicolor dreamcoat.

I couldn't name one player. And I grew up when cricket was a summer religion. I can still name the Australian teams of the late 80's, the Redbacks side that won the 95-96 Shield, but I couldn't tell you who plays for the Strikers, Renegades and.... Stormers?

Agree wholeheartedly with the rest. Cricket is almost dead to me, probably only saved by the entertaining disposal of Captain Cook and his men last summer.

Would not surprise me if Lynch has been planning this since the original two seasons ended.

Maybe, but what he couldn't have planned for is that the cable networks in the meantime have managed to revive the concept of making interesting television series'. It all worked out rather well.
