Went to a Greek christening today. It was my 7 year old daughter's first time in a Greek Orthodox church, and she gazed in wonder at the depictions of Jesus on the stained glass windows,the paintings and finally on the ceiling fresco, before tugging at my cuff and whispering ...

I will of course ask for advice from you fella. We are planning a drive from Whyalla, through to Birdsville, then veer right and come out on the Gold Coast to see my ma and pa.

Then go bush again and go right through to the Cape. Its going to be epic. Could be a story for the ages. Its going to happen.

I will of course ask for advice from you fella. We are planning a drive from Whyalla, through to Birdsville, then veer right and come out on the Gold Coast to see my ma and pa.

Then go bush again and go right through to the Cape. Its going to be epic. Could be a story for the ages. Its going to happen.

Yeah, my 1986 hitch-hiking trip was going to be epic, from Murray Bridge to Brisbane, up to the Cape...then across to Darwin, down to Perth. Then back to Murray Bridge. I still haven't made it to the cape

We're moving to the Gold Coast in the new year .. not enough ocean for us in Dubbo
