Not sure if I should feel nervous about it, or happy that it's such a high profile placement.

Watch the Oils on the water DVD. Triple J's 10th birthday on Goat Island 1985. **** they were good. They turned to poo yes, but at that time they were amazing. I've seen many many bands live and most of them I like more than Midnight Oil but for raw live rock and roll I can't think of much that gets close to matching them.

Ween very good live too. They play very long shows 3-4 hours. Sometimes they play for so long your drugs wear off.

I voted for him ...when he was in the Nuclear disarmament party back in the late 80's early 90's.Not because I gave a stuff about Nuclear disarmament but I liked Midnight oil.

Oils on the Water is sensational. Midnight Oil are also one of my favourite live bands, they have that big guitar sound.

I'm considering running for the senate next federal election on some minority issue that enough ratbags would go to war over to get about 0.75% of the vote, which if preferences fall the right way would get me in.
Six years of nuisance value, then the rest of my life on that sweet pension.

Just need to pick the right issue.
So far my thinking is one of the following:

Bring back the death penalty
Death Penalty for Drug Dealers
Decriminalise Drugs
No Taxes
Higher taxes for the rich
Ban anything fun
Libertine Party
Ban Bikes From Our Roads
Ban Trucks From Our Roads
Ban Cars from Our Roads
Send Everyone Back Where They Came From
More Rights for White Male Australians
More Law and Order
**** the Police
Ban the Internet
