There is a video shop up here that has a lot of Yank chocolate bars and chips etc because we have a lot of septics up here working at Pine Gap.I used some initiative and thought they might have Dr Pepper too.I just popped in and there was a fridge with 3 rows in it.So I was daring and bought one.
It isn't cola but contains caffeine.Sort of a cross between sarsparilla, ginger beer, creaming soda and a weak cola type flavor.Sort of an indescribable taste.It reminded me of when I was young and we used to get those Loys or Lloyds? Home delivered softdrinks where you would buy a dozen mixed drinks each week or fortnight.Anyone remember them? Anyway Dr Pepper was a conglomerate of about 8 drinks.
It was reasonable tasting but nothing that set the taste buds alight to rush back for more
