In other news, the Redbacks have restricted QLD to just 16/1 from 14 overs before lunch in their first Sheffield Shield match for the season. The Hughes inclusion makes our line-up look so much better, though I'd much prefer home grown talent in a game that literally is state based.

one weekend played 2 games of kings lost both times, 4 games of flip cup, and about 5 games of beer pong. Lost 4 of the beer pong games because by that time I was already pretty legless.

Just successfully finished my 2013 NBA Fantasy Draft. Now the 4 week wait for the season to start is going to be agonising. Lucky 2K13 comes out tomorrow.

And my Wife and hipster mates thought that the sports obsession finished with football season. What a silly thing to think.

Played teams of two, with two balls, Rule is if both players from one team get it in the same cup on the first throws, others have to drink everything in a race, I.E one from each end, we play 8 cups, full cups, not half cups and played with platinums, this extreme fate happened to me in my 10th game within two hours, the rest of the night is a blur

Just played a social game of footy, it was about 14 v 14. I am absolutely spent. Went on a dashing run off half back, side stepped someone, then out burned someone, kick fell in the goal square and some muppet tried to mark it instead of letting it bounce through, but fumbled it through for a behind.

It was my pre season hit out before 7 a side starts in 2 weeks. Even though I'm buggered I feel pretty good. Just wanted to share that you with you lovelies.

What I like about T20 cricket isn't necessarily the fast-paced nature of the game, but the accountability of all players - bowlers and batsman moreso than fielders, in contrast to the longer forms of the game - as their mistakes are amplified because of how short the format is.
