I used to work in the email section of a large ISP (I still work for them, but not in emails anymore) and one day I stumbled over a completely disused email queue full of notices sent by copyright holders or whatever about people on the ISP torrenting their movies (didn't see any for TV shows). As far as I knew there was no-one in the company whose job it was to investigate or follow up at all.

I used to get these kinds of notices sent to me from my mum when i was living at home. She would get them from our ISP and flick them to me asking me to stop downloading tv shows.
The emails mentioned they would cut off our Internet if we didn't comply.
I now live with my missus and we download 2-3 movies a week and various tv shows once they have full seasons available and we've never received one of these threatening emails.

There are over 80 cities in China with a population over 5 million ie. larger than Sydney (about half of them have a population over 10 million). There are around another 50 Cities with a population over a million.

It probably wasn't made in a village.

Man is it entertaining reading the comments on Adelaidenow about our glorious leader and the series of unfortunate events, latest chapter is him bumbling the simplest of questions on 7:30. Reading the comments on people calling out the ABC's "bias" without the slightest inkling of irony and defending him with such breathless enthusiasm.

A thoroughly entertaining night in if you ask me.
