Come on, come on, come on, come on
(Together) We will go our way
(Together) We will leave someday
(Together) Your hand in my hands
(Together) We will make our plans
(Together) We will fly so high
(Together) Tell all our friends goodbye
(Together) We will start life new
(Together) This is what we'll do

(Go West) Life is peaceful there
(Go West) In the open air
(Go West) Where the skies are blue
(Go West) This is what we're gonna do
(Go West, this is what we're gonna do, Go West)

I'm 26, hardly game anymore, but I still get a massive thrill out of commencing my new PC build :). This case was insanely hard to get a hold of. Picked up one of the last ones in Australia till the next shipment. Also dat lion placemat, majestic as ****. (They were a gift from a grandmother)

Oh the Irish won. Don't know if I should be happy for them or disappointed by the west Indies continual decline

I think it points out the need to broaden the competition and stop being so insular with the supposed 'top teams' competing against each other all the time, and open it up a bit more.

That team is about as Irish as Del Boy.

I made that comment flippantly, then went to have a look. Mostly Northern Irelanders with a smattering of Dubliners and some significant foreigners.

Final specs for anyone who cares:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K
CPU Cooler: X61 Kraken
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark1 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro CMY16GX3M2A1866C9B 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3
GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Strix DirectCU II 4GB
SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 256gb
CASE: Corsair Graphite 780T White Full Tower Case
PSU: Corsair HX750i
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB ST2000DM001 + re-using an SSD and 2 other HDDs from the old PC.

Waiting on the parts (aside from the case) to arrive this week. The waiting is the worst part!

Playing some serious games obviously

Not really, it's just a blatant waste of money to be honest, I would pay maybe 6 hours of games a month if that. Midlife crisis without the midlife. Current PC is five years old and my GTX 480 gave up the ghost (vale sweet prince) so I figured it was time.

Haha would like to see that. Just beating up on guys going into the paint.

I guess a reason why the NBA All-Star game can be (relatively) entertaining, as opposed to say the AFL State of Origin, is because it can be played offensively and without many injury risks.
No taggers and instructions to all defenders to freewheel out of defence once they've won the ball and an AFL allstar game could be pretty attacking and awesome.

Make it 16-on-16 to create extra space as would-be rulesmakers have been calling for for years too.

Explosive story on Four Corners about live baiting in the greyhound industry. A heap of top trainers. Perhaps this was the darkest day in sport we heard about.
Jesus Christ. Genuinely close to tears listening to the piglet. :(

I am in shock. I just can't believe that there are people involved in greyhound racing that would cheat. Next thing you know they'll be making the same allegations about the horse racing industry. That will be something for the media to get their fine cotton knickers in a knot about.

Hahahaha true, gambling is a donation.

The RSPCA say it is considering laying charges against a host of trainers and industry figures, while Greyhound Racing NSW has already stood down five people following a report on the practice on the ABC’s Four Corners program, broadcast tonight.
Greyhound racing authorities in NSW, Queensland and Victoria moved to suspend more than 20 operators late last week after the investigation.

Saw a story on BBC Impact - a Syrian farmer is working his field and gets picked off by a shooter - they have no idea if its a government of Isis shooter. bullet goes in thru the neck but comes out the front of his jaw and most of his lower jaw is blown away. His field is near Israeli border so family takes him there to see if Israelis will let him in so he can go to their hospital about 40kms from the Golan Heights border.

They do and doctors are stunned and not sure what to do. One of them decides to build a complete lower jaw from titanium using a 3 D printer. It works the guy survives and the news story was filmed on the day oh his release several weeks after he was admitted. He has to come back in 6 months for a check up and get a couple of small plates inserted.

Great story - re medical progress, but also of great humanity by Israeli's to help someone they dont know and the guy to trust Jewish doctors with his life.

But it does make me think how long before an AFL footballer will get a surgical repair with some part produced by a 3D printer.

Great story. I wonder if the cartridges cost more than the printer itself...
