saw a few songs from mayhem, not bad at all.

the vandals, hilarious, and they covered one of australias greatest ever songs, im an individual from jacko, brilliant.
killer be killed had some awesome moments but at times had the odd slower boring moments but overall pretty impressive.
king 810 were really good early heavy, dark, nice.
fear factory and terror universal were awesome on the first day. soundgarden were good but i wish chris cornell didnt have a few songs where he put the guitar down, outshined fell flat with only thayils guitar, as it did on kickstand and a couple of the other songs. faith no more were much better this time, great setlist.
steel panther, hilarious, but dont put your 13 year old daughter on your shoulders during the show......
butcher babies were awesome, actually really enjoyed the music too...
caught a bit of slash, sounded real nice, even played you could be mine which was a personal highlight but welcome to the jungle had the place pumping.
judas priest were good from what a saw which wasnt alot.
exodus gave us all much needed thrash, although i only saw the last 30 minutes of their set and didnt get to do the toxic waltz.
millencolin were millencolin, nice.
king parrot go pretty hard dont they.....
le butcherettes, crazy mexican lady puttiung on a great show.
ministry, great sound, pretty much the same thing from start to finish though but not bad.
apocolyptica, thrash on cellos, as it should be...
the bennies, cant fault watching them live.
ne obliviscaris - one of those shocking bands that wank on alot and dont really write songs. just a bunch of music with no structure. absolutely talented musicians and i enjoyed some of their sounds but geez would it hurt to just write a song and not just some long boring wank piece, and put the violin down, sounds shit and it proves you think way too much about it...bloody talented though
i know theres a core of 'metal fans' that say they now hate this band but geez slipknot were awesome, their last album is sensational and their live show blows most away.

EPL fans, why the derision of teams, ala Liverpool, that haven't won league title for a long time, but have won a Champions cup relatively recently? Wouldn't a champions league be more prestigious?

Probably because it relates directly to domestic rivals rather than European which involves far less English teams, alas less relevant as a dig.

Also, most supporters who will have a dig at Liverpool specifically for this have had their team win the league multiple times during Liverpool's domestic title drought, while Chelsea and United have also won the Champions League themselves in that time too.

For the rest, it's simply taking the piss out of Liverpool because they were once the dominant side and a hated team/city/supporter base and it's their chance to get back, I guess.

Yeah, but to go from winning the league every year or two to having choked it away a few times and just plain not winning it over the last 25 years is a big deal in this case specifically, especially since we've assembled some great squads and up until a few years ago were a part of the 'Big 4' English clubs. Despite always placing high, no wins.

As a supporter of a club who has won the league and won the European Cup, the league is a more prestigious trophy because it's harder to win and you have to beat bigger rivals on a more consistent basis to do it.

I've said this before, and I know Dylan disagreed with me last time, but if you gave Gerrard the opportunity to hand back his Champions League trophy in exchange for lifting the Premier League trophy in front of the kop, won over 38 grueling games in the toughest league in the world, besting Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal to do so, i'm absolutely certain he'd make the swap.

League titles are the be all and end all. Especially in the Premier League.

It's not really noticeable, maybe 1mm or even half a mm.
My question is should I go to the dentist or is this a common thing that happens as you age? (side note, I'm in my mid 20s)

Perhaps, but I think how can you win a championship without a finals system? At least the champions has a proper finals/elminatiom system. Who finishes on top isn't always the champion and no system puts that to the test better than a finals system.
