Yup, I lost my father when I was 10. Some mates will never understand the jealousy I have for them being so lucky to have grown up and still be able to go fishing etc. with their dad.

I lost mne a week and a half before Christmas 2014. I even miss the things he did that used to annoy the shit out of me.

I lost my Dad when I was 6. I feel more for my Sister though, who was only 3 at the time. She doesn't remember much at all about him.

yep, lost my Dad when I was 19, he was 50. Its not easy, and even now I'm 42, married with kids, I see my wifes father play with my kids, and get jealous that I wish my Dad was around to see them!

I know these feels too, I had an abusive step Dad. Met my real Dad when I was 18 and he was great, he died 5 years ago unexpectedly.
