I don't play a lot of comp games these days, but I've played the Elder Scrolls games and Morrowind shits on Oblivion and Skyrim, although all 3 are great for different reasons.Skyrim is probably the best game i have ever played...i am hoping witcher scratches that itch
You can also try the Morroblivion mod which is morrowind in the oblivion engine.I don't play a lot of comp games these days, but I've played the Elder Scrolls games and Morrowind shits on Oblivion and Skyrim, although all 3 are great for different reasons.
If you can get Morrowind with some sort of mod to update the graphics, definitely worth playing
I think I was born too late for Morrowind - ie the first Elder Scrolls I played was Oblivion which I loved, but I could never get into M'wind. The combat was just insufferably shit.I don't play a lot of comp games these days, but I've played the Elder Scrolls games and Morrowind shits on Oblivion and Skyrim, although all 3 are great for different reasons.

Or Skywind? And wait for another unfinished 'wind mod for the next game too.You can also try the Morroblivion mod which is morrowind in the oblivion engine.
I think morroblivion is pretty much finished though.I think I was born too late for Morrowind - ie the first Elder Scrolls I played was Oblivion which I loved, but I could never get into M'wind. The combat was just insufferably shit.

I prefer Oblivion to Skyrim, but they're both very sterile compared to your Dragon Age, Witcher, etc. Bethsoft seems to sacrifice character building in order to make the fantastic open world settings.I love Morrowind. Was such an awesome game when it came out.
I never liked Oblivion though, put me off TES for a bit. I almost didn't pick up Skyrim, because of Oblivion.
Glad I did though, such a good game.

Yeah. The Witcher, Dragon Age are much more linear, but seem more alive. Seems to be the trade off. Interesting to see how the Witcher 3 handles a more open world.I prefer Oblivion to Skyrim, but they're both very sterile compared to your Dragon Age, Witcher, etc. Bethsoft seems to sacrifice character building in order to make the fantastic open world settings.
Oblivion's guild quests were so much better than Skyrim's, man. Lucien Lachance! The Grey Fox! Awesome stories.

.
I haven't played Skyrim in a couple of years (this is a wake up call - seems like yesterday i was opening the game - one which my hype for was unmatched), played through Oblivion a few months ago and it was awesome.Yeah. I have tried going back to Oblivion after having so much fun with Skyrim, but I just can't get in to it.
Ditch the main story. From what I remember the guilds in Oblivion are a lot better than the main story and a lot better than the guilds in Skyrim, I don't think I finished the main story first time around. Got bored of it, completed every other quests and came back to it after a long break.I have tried going back to Oblivion after having so much fun with Skyrim, but I just can't get in to it.
I got mine with a McDonald's happy meal
