Get used to paid dlc from established developers my friend....but what pisses me of more is 2nd and 3rd copies of goty editionsI played my fair share of WoW, a number of years even. However that and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory were the only online games I play really, I had excellent times there, probably some of the funniest times of my life. However now, I can't stand the communities because generally you are dealing with social misfits and passive aggressive kids with mummy/daddy problems. So as a result, I only play single player games - which is a shame because there are genuinely great people in multi games, but it's impossible to wade through the steaming piles of human manure that make up player bases these days. The second thing regarding single player games is that these days, companies don't bother so much with single player and are extremely focused on online aspects and because of this, the single player campaigns are super short, and extremely poor quality.
Lastly...DLC, ******* piss off. Release a game that is relatively bug free with plenty of content instead of charging premium prices for the initial buggy as **** game, then expecting further cash for DLC.
A long time mate of mine works for Dice in Sweden. EA (the publisher) are astronomically awful and push for unrealistic release dates, don't care about quality control and are the gaming equivalent of box movers. Sadly to everyone who is interested, he admits that he feels star wars battlefront (which he is working on) is catastrophically awful. Looks great, but the game is genuinely bad, and it's extremely buggy and on release it will be a pile of shit (what a surprise, seems to be the trend).
"Release first patch later", get stuffed.
If you are loot fan you will love it....its a really funny game too....I have it in my Steam library, but only played a few minutes...just seemed a bit cartoony

You are dead to me!!!Can't stand borderlands in general. Predictable and boring as **** spawning of monsters and just generally childish and lacking in any proper story/features. I can't at all fathom how it became so popular, it's complete rubbish. It's fallout with less open world, less variety, less characters, less immersion and less customisation.
Ah, man. This is the most disappointing thing.A long time mate of mine works for Dice in Sweden. DICE games are buggy enough without being released prematurely which is why Battlefield 4 was so terrible on release. It was just awful. I don't have high hopes for Battlefront.I played my fair share of WoW, a number of years even. ET was amazing fun, I played a lot of that back in the day. I also only really play single player games these days too. I can't stand 90% of the idiots online, that and I just don't have the time to play them regularly and keep up with the no lives who play it non stop and are miles ahead of me. Single player = go at my own pace. However that and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory were the only online games I play really, I had excellent times there, probably some of the funniest times of my life.
Companies like EA and Activision have been pushing this for the last 5 years. It's become the norm now. Gaming kinda ****ing sucks these days, or maybe I'm getting old."Release first patch later", get stuffed.

Is Skyrim anything like WoW?
I almost bought Skyrim yesterday but I'm not sold on what I've seen so far.
