Anyway, Netflix have a one month free trial. iiNet and its subsidiaries are doing it unmetered and Telstra is doubling its broadband data allowances in response. Good times. Give it a go.

Far out I hadn't even noticed my bigpond plan had doubled, just logged in it's gone from 500GB to 1000GB thanks for the heads up lol, jeez I doubt I'll need all that.

Do you have to sign up to Netflix to get the double usage? I haven't joined yet but my plan is still 200gb.

Nope, it's automatic. But considering the number of BigPond customer it's probably gonna take a while to roll out to everyone.
