The issue with it is that there is a lot of effectively softcore pr0n for no real reason. It adds nothing to the story (except maybe in relation to the Khal Drogo/Danyeres storyline).

Once you move past that, it's enthralling. It makes you want to keep watching to see what happens next. The characters are excellent. There is no semblance of "oh well he's a pretty important character, he'll probably survive". There are boring storylines along the way, but overall it'll keep your attention. My wife watched the first episode and said she'd never watch it again, and is now hooked.

You need a reason for soft core pr0n?
Hard core, maybe...

What about GOAT conversation to stop, stop, he's already dead!

The Simpsons up to roughly S09/S10. From Must-See-TV that added innumerable one-liners and references into the everyday lexicon to the epitome of mediocre with truly good episodes few and far between.

Dexter up to the end of S04 (John Lithgow's season). They end it there, it's nigh-on perfect as an entire story arc. After that, one of the greatest declines in the history of the medium, with everything that made the show what it was jizzed on and stuffed into a femsure bin.

An incest story arc, now that is writing you can set your watch too.

Liked for the Simpsons, that was generation defining television. I disagree on Dexter though, I watched all of the first season and it always felt to me like everybody behaved like plot devices without real motivations, aside from Dexter himself. Couldn't get into it.

McCabe is very good.

Amen.

Is it good? I'll need something to watch when the GOAT finishes in a couple weeks.

Some of my mates watch it, but they also like Walking Dead, SOA, etc.

In my head im imagining horrible CGI, dodgy sword fighting, cliche crap like the midget guy is secretly the strongest fighter, hot dragon chick gets with ugly character. Am I way off?

Not sure about the series but the books are nothing of the sort. I was never into Lord of the Rings or that kind of stuff and only bought the books because I found 4 of them for R$20 (believe me it's ridiculously cheap). Started reading out of curiosity and I was soon addicted to it. It might have some clichés of the genre but nothing cringeworthy and overall it's a very intricate story that makes you want to keep reading all the time. The richness of detail of the characters makes it easy to empathize with them as well (and makes you hate the world when they die, which happens pretty often). I was surprised to like it so much.

Still haven't seen much of the series but it should be great as well, although probably nowhere near the level of detail of the books, obviously.

My mate who works at EA said there is a trailer for star wars battlefront coming out on the 17th, but the trailer shows off the graphics and hides the gameplay - because it's shit. did lol.

I can tell you this, weapons on the ground aren't weapons, they are icons...because this is quake, and it's 1997. He then proceeded to say "All I can say is...I hope you like hearthstone."

Followed by: "imagine a creative director who is obsessed with CS and Hearthstone."

Watching Rocky IV on netflix Apollo's death is still a tough raw and highly emotional moment

"Yo Adrian"

*In reality I haven't shed a tear since september 2007

A well produced BFront would be the greatest FPS ever
