I look at it this way Edgie, if they are bullying me at least they aren't bullying someone else. But I don't hold grudges and everyone is free to make their own opinions.

I've been here a relatively short time, but it made sense to me almost immediately.

The Simpsons up to roughly S09/S10. From Must-See-TV that added innumerable one-liners and references into the everyday lexicon to the epitome of mediocre with truly good episodes few and far between.

Dexter up to the end of S04 (John Lithgow's season). They end it there, it's nigh-on perfect as an entire story arc. After that, one of the greatest declines in the history of the medium, with everything that made the show what it was jizzed on and stuffed into a femsure bin.

The Simpsons wins that contest. Season 10 aired in 1998, so 17 years of shit and counting...

It is apparently still the highest or 2nd highest rating show on Fox so I guess it'll keep going forever.

I wasn't around 25 years ago but they must have put on a good show. I picked up their debut album a couple years back and still listen to it.

Thanks, if the TV show doesn't grab me I might try the books. Haven't picked up a book in years, so.

Bad Brains are quality. My brother in law who has a hardcore band here in Rio idolises them and showed me the band a while ago. For some reason I had always neglected them, although I've always been into punk rock.

There is a gulf the size of the pacific ocean between the way Eddie Dingle posts and the way I_don't_care posts. Yes, I will approach their posting differently based on the personality they've revealed through their posting. This isn't a sweeping generalisation based on an isolated incident, although even in this incident, there was a pretty wide gap in what was being posted.

It wasn't anyone ganging up on you, it was that in that one instance you held a particularly ridiculous opinion and the vast majority disagreed with you.

Actually, since Thomas was moved on and you haven't felt the need to defend him, your posting re footy matters has been generally pretty on point.

Actually, since Thomas was moved on and you haven't felt the need to defend him, your posting re footy matters has been generally pretty on point.

To be fair, Thomas and White were on track for HOF status before he jinxed them with the usernames.

On the flip side to this conversation, Deadwood was cut a season or 2 short (due to actors other commitments) but this just made the whole story very hollow and disappointing.
I loved that show but became angry after season 3.
Carnivale was similar but wasn't nearly as annoyed that it finished.

Really? I would say a harmless question of "is it pms" is the lesser of the two, compared to promising to have some fun, pressumably by having fun by exploiting a person of questionable mental capacity, within the context.
