Yeah no one ever gets hurt playing cricket.... Clearly never played the sport, never faced a fast bowler trying to take your head off....

How about that Phil Hughes eh?

Facing a cricket ball at those insane speeds isn't my idea of fun , although they wear more padding then a gridiron player and the actual serious injuries are quite few and far between.

I played baseball and copped a fastball from the state pitcher in the side of my knee. None of those bulky pads they have in cricket. The ump signalled for me to walk to first. It was a slow painful walk lol but nothing other than bruising.

But in cricket or similar sports you don't have to make split second decisions not knowing where the damage could come from that you have in football. That 360 awareness of lack of it and still sitting under that ball when you know three solid guys are gonna smash into you and you can't know when or where from to protect yourself. That takes some balls.

Mate... I can assure you that little red seed has ways of finding every exposed fleshy part of your body where pads aint.

Cop one at 140 clicks on the inner thigh, or an elbow, or a toe or the inside of your knee etc.

And not having to make a split second decision ?? Carn.

I'm refering to making split second decisions when you don't know what could be coming or from where. I would rather face off against a fast ball then run back with the flight under a high ball when I know tony Lockett is in the area.

This board lately:

How good is it when you add a chicken stock cube and double the chicken taste along with the sachet thats already supplied.

Zakkaria, get rid of that generic chicken sachet pack and embark on a seriously unhealthy relationship with life threatening levels of monosodium glutamate in this wonder of south asian cuisine.

Kyrgios just blew two set points in the fourth.

Gasquet reels off four tie-break points to take the set and match.

Hope they show Nick's press conference...
