'
Between Two Worlds' was pretty good but subtle and understated (although my IMDb link gives away the twist). If made again they'd probably do to it what 'Titanic' did to 'Night to remember'.
Have you seen '
Sole survivor' (1970)? In this case the IMDb blabbering doesn't matter too much because you know the main premise 15 min in, the cleverness is what lies from knowing what happened between the opening scenes and WW2.
Yep, I have Sole Survivor plus Outward Bound & Between Two Worlds in my collection.
The Outward Bound copy I have is the best quality of that movie I have found, but alas, it's not that great. The movie however is in some ways better than Between Two Worlds. In Between Two Worlds John Garfield went way over the top, but Paul Henried & Sydney Greenstreet were superb.
Is there a few people on board who are interested in old, never heard of, or near impossible to find movies, who are interested to go through a collection?
If so I could have a time where you people's can come up here to Mt Barker & have a look & maybe find some stuff you'd be interested in & never heard of before.
