Absolutely not.

Unless you like really trashy storylines that are badly written and acting that is worse.

I watch it because my wife (the one in the real world not you Portia) demanded she get one night a week with the remote. And so Australia's Next Top Model and Gossip Girl addicts we became.

I am sure 7 nights of sport would be better than 6 nights of sport and 1 night of trash but she disagreed.

I've seen more episodes of the various Next Top Models than I care to remember and they are all terrible especially the kiwi one...

The pommy one has one redeeming factor in that they show boobs.

My other half is obsessed with cake boss, multiple american wedding dress shows, and dance mums. (which is basically toddlers in tiaras but worse.)

I've actually considered canning foxtel, because all I watch is around 6 hours of sport a week, the rest of the time its the above shows. I don't see why I have to foot the bill for barely any of the usage. (I obviously don't have kids, else I would be used to this concept.)

The other two males (Nate and Dan) are nothing characters. The girls struggle along with thier lack of acting ability, although I would do unspeakable things to Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester). The adult roles are completely one dimensional and most guest roles just don't don't cut it but Georgina Sparks and Jack Bass add quality at times.

But that Chuck Basstard just kills me, best part of the show.

Okay, so everyone knows that The OC is brilliant, the greatest drama to ever great television.

Season 1 average ratings: 9.7 million viewers
Season 2 average ratings: 7.0 million viewers
Season 3 average ratings: 5.6 million viewers
Season 4 average ratings: 4.3 million viewers (cancelled half way through the season)

Then there's this piece of shit Gossip Girl, with NO endearing characters, by the same dude that gets these ratings:

Season 1: 2.35 million viewers
Season 2: 2.48 million viewers
Season 3: 2.02 million viewers
Season 4: 1.64 million viewers
Season 5: 1.18 million viewers

With a sixth season on its way. I don't understand television. Why was The OC cancelled for low ratings but Gossip Girl gets to keep being shit on TV?

Obviously it's cos of the different broadcasters, one being Fox and the other being "The CW". But still, c'mon man, why didn't a lesser network pick up The OC? They woulda lost their mind at those numbers. I hate the world.

Dude I got the iPad for free, quit the brand fanboy superiority. No one cares. There are plenty of flash browsers available anyways, plus I enjoy reading cbr's with retina display. You can use whatever tablet you want, if it works for you then great. Everyone's happy. No one is forcing you to use Apple/Sony/PC/Console whatever else may twist your knickers.

You may or may not have heard about the Bechdel test, which is a measure of gender bias in fiction, but all the shittest shows on TV fail this test.

Apple forces salespeople to do a lot of things, and enforces them strictly. They are an absolute fascist of a company.

Their products however, are ok, but overpriced for what they actually are and the hardware they contain compared to their competitors.
