1. The Cash Cows (CC) can hardly be 'found guilty' if they confessed, especially when it appears the AFL didn't even suspect this.
2. I cannot see from what we know that Tippett has any case to answer. If he even knew a signed agreement of this nature had to be filed with the AFL a kid in his early 20s could have reasonably expected his manager and his club to handle it.
3. I imagine it will be the Gold Coast's reaction to this that will decide whether the CC get more than a wrist slap. Had Tippet not re-signed at the end of 2010 there is a fair chance he might have followed Bock there.

A bit off topic but I have a slight feeling that Wingard could be number 6 next season. Not exactly huge news but it's news. Hey we all need a break from the Crows Tippett saga.

A bit of white paint over the '1', why not? Or to put it another way, and as I say each year with increasing amounts of swearing "Leave the ****ing numbers alone you sillys". Obviously not counting changes when a new captain is appointed and takes on "1".

Well it was different in that it was a conditional bribe, no gain to Tippett unless he activated it. But I concede that's being pedantic. It largely affected Gold Coast but I now realise it might have also affected Brisbane. I haven't really informed myself on this apart from the original afl.com.au article and later teasing my local fruit and veg guy. So I'd still say it will be the reaction of the two Qld teams that will decide the AFL's final response.
