Good starting point though before moving on
Kind of.

You get an idea on what people do depending on what type of hand they have I guess,

But its pretty hit and miss. Will find less noobs at the Casino.

Having now got a good handle on where I am in the food chain, I'm never going to the casino again.

Easier to spot a noob, and play a hand for what it is at a table though

Let me explain my logic, although there may be less noobs at a casino, I back my judgement of a players ability and hand a lot more at a table.

Always an element of doubt online.
I totally agree man,

A table is much easier.

I thought you were the one saying online was the way to go? lol.

Possibly BIG MATTY T but I still reckon its the best way to go about it.

Nah, I much prefer table games, mostly in terms of enjoyment. I haven't played online for months, I was always playing the lower buy in's which was far too frustrating. Hot and cold streaks always seem far more prominent online as well.

It's a good way to learn how to play certain hands though, there is a fair chance that you won't be as badly burned for playing a hand the wrong way. And there are a few programs you can download to track / replay your hands.

If you feel like trying the Crown in Perth we can ;).

Depends what kind of mood I'm in as to how much you get out of me though, sometimes I play loose and take stabs, sometimes I don't and only have a crack if I have a big piece of the board.

Could be right ...just online I reckon you gain confidence then hit a table....if you go into a table with unfamiluars your in for a steep learning curb

I prefer at a table it's not about winning for me it's the art of manipulation that's basically what pokers about psyching your opponents out and not getting sucked in....it's the purist form of gambling which is an art

Last time I was in Adelaide casino I could smoke on the tables was awesome...and to my surprise I almost fell off my chair when you could put your money down on the money wheel literally just as it was one turn from stopping...

I cleaned up on Caribbean poker their too scoring a full house 3 of a kind and a few flushes....

But for me if i was chasing money it has to be roulette but you gotta keep swapping tables in roulette...this is my game for chasing money

There are a fair few different 'styles' when playing poker, which makes this bit hard. I've been watching the WSP closely for the first time this year and it's amazing how differently different pro's will play the same hand.

Personally I'm all about position poker.

See me I like to throw a few hands when i know I don't need to lose much ....I like to stay quiet make it look like I am nervous etc etc

Enjoying the upgraded cas? Filled way too much of the new area with pokies IMO.

A poker a game with Boydy you have me pissing myself laughing the whole time I would lose due to lack of concentration

Yeah they went way over the top. When i've been there hardly anyone is one is on the pokies, and it's almost impossible to walk in the backjack/casino wars area because of all the people.

Also, I too live in Perth.

Casino wars is the biggest load of shite and what's with the new black jack standoff on 22 when that first happened I was like wtf

It's good having a few more bars to choose from though.

Most annoying bit is trying to get out of the main exit of the gaming floor with all of the pokies now.
