There are a group of people from certain parts of the world who believe they are at war with the West. They are a minority but they are a dangerous minority intent on destroying our way of life. To sit back and basically not acknowledge the threat at all beyond 'counter terrorism surveillance' is not the appropriate response.

Isn't it? How many people have been killed in terrorist attacks in Australia, 2? And that wasn't 'ISIS', that was just a lone nut-job. Counter terrorism surveillance is working just fine here. You're statisically more likely to be killed falling out of bed than by a terrorist but as far as I'm aware nobody's calling for beds to be kicked out of Australia.

The frightening thing with fundamentalist Islam is how plain it is that they can't be reasoned with. They live for defending any perceived insult to Mo, 'slam and everything betwixt and between. They're also quite keen on smiting infidels for whatever reason, because that's exactly what the scripture says.

At least with the vast majority of Germans in WW2, they liked a beer, a root and a game of footy as much as we did, and ultimately were keen to go home and merely enjoy life just as much as we were #nogodwin
