Fallout 4 is so laggy what the **** suddenly my computer goes from being able to run games on medium settings at 1080p to stuttering out at lowest settings 720p (which is some Neanderthal resolution)

I can't imagine liking Dubai, simpy from a weather point of view. Been in Canada too long. Simply too hot and humid to imagine.

I remember watching Australia beat Pakistan at cricket there a few years back. Matty Hayden scored 100, and the bowlers were limited to three over spells. And Pakistan got bowled out for 53 each innings or something ridiculous. But it was the heat and humidity that was most insane.

Yeah, so we won't be seeing much of you for a while I guess. Going to be quiet on this forum while the gamers Fallout for a while.

My boss is into this and it's wonderful. He's sitting in his office and catching up on his sleep and staying out of our way and I'm getting all my work done with no dramas or stress. Best game ever and I've never even played it.

Really? That ****ing sucks. It is really CPU intensive, but I thought yours would handle at med-low settings/1080p, assuming your GPU and RAM were within the minimum specs. AMD card? I've heard there are driver issues with some AMD cards (nothing new there) and Fallout 4 at the moment.

It's probably a perfect storm of outdated parts, unoptimised drivers and unoptimised beth game.

My impressions so far have been underwhelming anyway. Gunplay is great but the rest has been meh. Plenty of time to go though..

Word up. It's 2:21am, and I've been calculating return on equity, profit margin ratios, profitability ratios, asset efficiency analysis, liquidity, capital structure, market performance, trend analysis.

Then writing a 3,000 word report on said ratios and analysis.

Pro tip: Don't invest in Mayne Pharma. Their cash flow is shit and they have a horrendous case of accounts receivable mismanagement.

One thing that's irritating me is how prevalent power armour is so early in the game. Sure you need to have a steady supply of fusion cores, but I shouldn't be able to clear out entire compounds of raiders let alone supermutants when I'm not even level 10.

Really ruins dat classic RPG feel of having to really earn your stripes and pay your dues etc, it feels like a 3PS sim city atm

Not only that, but it was so not my character and here I am thrust into the in-your-face tank fighter role. Why am I obliged to help those people at the start? I just left after that anyway. Think I'll avoid the main quest a while.

POWAH ARMOUR IS SO COOL BUT I DON'T KNOW WHY THERE ARE NO DOGS THAT BARK AND SHOOT BEES FROM THEIR MOUTHS THAT WOULD BE THE COOLEST - Majority of the target market

Up the difficulty then, normal is pretty easy but hard, very hard are a lot more of a challenge.

Also Power armour is optional, I haven't used it since the first time you get it.

Choosing to not use Power Armour is not very Fallouty though. But having it everywhere isn't Fallouty either. I've found three suits already and been offered another as part of a faction offer.

As Feel, PhD alluded to, they sure are V.A.T.Sing for the mainstream

I just left the armour back Sanctuary once I'd dealt with the Deathclaw. The gunplay saves this game in some parts though.
There is something extremely satisfying about slowly picking off a base of super mutants one at a time from a great distance, moving after every second shot so they couldn't find me.

I hated getting in to fire fights in F3 and NV, but in F4 (ammo permitting) I look forward to it. You can tell ID have lent a hand in the gunplay department.
They might not always make the best games these days, but ID's shooting is always on point.

AI. AI never changes in a Bethesda game. I was in a gun fight with a higher level raider on a roof top, and he just strafed off the edge and fell to his doom. C'mon guy! Haha

This was purely accidental. It was based off me but then I couldn't find how to get rid of the beard and I picked up some specs and then I looked at my character and was like woah but its cool because its Jurg.

Yes that is how bad my game looks btw.
